Notes

Just about noon. You have had a busy morning with a specialize handyman coming out checking for squirrels in the attic. He found none. A humane service caught one squirrel in a trap (near the roof). He was going out. Now you wait to see if there are more squirrels going in or out and next week a number of small repairs are going to be made near or on the roof so squirrels are less likely to enter.

This afternoon, after lunch out, you and Carol are going refrigerator hunting as the Ohio Rebate program kicks in on Friday. A new stove and countertops are also on the agenda this spring, probably in May. First check the number of words you have in this chapter so far. > A little more than eighty-six hundred. This next scene should rap up this chapter.

Amorella. I hadn’t even thought about it because the number of scenes is not close to last time. I am glad you did because I thought the decision was less than ten thousand words in a chapter so it would be a book of about a hundred thousand words if I remember right.

I said both books, four and five, would be about the same size eighty to a hundred thousand words. You wanted about a hundred thousand because anything too much less is a novelette rather than a novel in your mind. I would rather have ninety-five thousand words rather than a hundred thousand, so we will see how it comes out.

I am not that fussy. Ninety-thousand is okay for a novel. Like you say, we’ll wait until it comes out. In any case, you are right, it is time to get a close on this chapter with this next scene. I am thinking and nothing is coming to mind.

The characters are Sophia and Thales. He is concerned about order: Human dignity is paramount.  She thinks human dignity is secondary to discovering more knowledge about the other nests of humans to see what they know, especially about the Supervisor. Post and go about your afternoon errands. – Amorella.

It is almost twenty-three hundred hours and you are upset about the childish brand of politics in this country. Actually, you are quite upset about it. You hate it because you like to think human beings can be much better behaved and kinder than they show themselves to be. Mostly you are a middle of the road kind of person. You know your anger is the same anger others also have, but not necessarily for the same reasons. You just fired out your personal say on a Facebook site and are still steamed. Tomorrow would be a better time to tackle this last scene.

I agree. Too much anger in this country. My own included.
