Notes - Lesson Seven - A / you have an imagination, use it

Mid-afternoon. It has been a relatively busy day with chores and errands along with the usual Brennan care. You decided to go ahead with editing for clarity the recent postings dealing with ‘metaphysics and the heartansoulanmind’. With my help you have edited (with a few changes for clarity) the posts involved and have placed them in a separate file. As you were working you thought about other diversions you have worked on separately while taking notes and realize this is nothing more or less than putting ideas and concepts in order for further thought and personal review.

When I was piecing together my ‘booklet’ Metaphysics I came across these words from a post:

** **
Grammar slows you down, boy. This is the reason the Dead speak more directly in the books. – Amorella

         I detect your smile.

This is good, as I have no substance. – Amorella

And a further smile in the humor.

From: 21 May 12 posting

As soon as I read it I thought of what was said in yesterday’s post:
Richard: “The soul is the place of ‘substance’.“
Amorella’s response: “Have it your way if you wish.”

** **
I have been trying to imagine the soul as the place of substance. And, presently I am trying to also imagine you as having no substance (which is still funny with the word meaning play). I seem to have continual problems with word definitions (and at alien-like odds with the English language). I wrote about a similar problem with translation some time ago, but it was concerning the reason for making my marsupial-humanoid aliens speak a language similar to German. This is in remembrance of my exchange professor at Bowling Green State University in 1969. Dr. Helmut Pellischek-Wilsdorf taught a graduate educational psychology class and had done his doctorate in Freud’s works. One of my memories was that he said the English translations of Freud were not completely correct because German words are not necessarily as specific as English, the German allowed a leeway in thought where the English translation wielded the German thoughts into a concrete it did not deserve.

Back to our question for the day: How does the attendant enter the soul? – Amorella

Does sheanhe leave at the same place?

The attendant does not leave. – Amorella

How come I have not seen examples of this event in The Rebellion? There are no attendants whatsoever.

The main characters in the story do not find it necessary to exchange with their attendants. When the attendants are forgotten they might as well be someplace else but they stay as foundation. – Amorella

This sounds weak, Amorella. How can I think (hypothetically) on how an attendant would enter the soul, when I have no information on the attendant? You have said you do not have substance as a soul does. Do these attendants have substance? What is the substance within the soul, I assume it is not harmful to the heartanmind. I am looking for consistency here. You have been consistent throughout the books and blog as far as I can see. Consistency is one of your virtues. – rho

We have to define ‘substance’ first. – Amorella.

We are going to have a problem. I assume this is the quick conclusion of a short experiment in the metaphysics of heartansoulanmind. If you can’t define something you cannot explain and/or describe the information at hand. Your first question: “How does a soul exist?” Your second: How does an attendant enter a soul? I am assuming that the second question gives evidence to an explanation that helps answer the first question. Is this so?

         Yes.

I have to have a definition of the word “substance” because the word infers existence. For one piece of matter to enter another piece of matter both have to exist. It is not proper to describe something by what it is not.

Another question brought up is “How can the soul be contained (by the heartanmind) in the physical world and be a container (of the heartanmind) in the metaphysical?” An explanation by example was given.

This is the reason for working through an explanation of how the soul exists and how an attendant enters the soul. I define the soul by stating it is the land of milk and honey, and you counter that the soul is the place of substance. I agree that for this exercise’s purpose both of definitions are correct. – Amorella

The soul is constructed to exist in both the physical and metaphysical universe.

         Yes.

Is a higher conscious being with a heartansoulanmind also constructed to exist in both the physical and metaphysical universe?

         Yes.

The purpose in both cases has to do with natural process.

         Yes.

Are “the land of milk and honey” and “the place of substance” exactly the same thing figuratively?

No, but the conclusion of both definitions is the same.

Plato says that reality (physics) has form; substance; process/movement; and atomics. What are the counter examples within metaphysics?

Let’s work on “substance” first. – Amorella

I cannot get passed being and non-being, and substance and non-substance.

Tonight, think from the perspective of Diplomat’s alien AC. Post. – Amorella

Think from outside the human box?

Yes. Don’t you want to grow in consciousness, boy? You have an imagination, use it. - Amorella

Notes - Mr. O & Mr. B / Lesson Six completed /

Late morning. You were awaken, as you have been everyday in Cleveland, by an energetic and happy boy, Owen Paik. “Good morning, Papa!” are his usual words backed by a quick smile then a jump on the bed to make sure you are indeed awake. He evidently considers it his duty or obligation to see you awake before his being off to daycare school to see his teachers and his favorite friend who is a girl, Daphne. Yesterday you asked him, “Whom else do you play with?” and he responded matter-of-factly, “Owen”.

He is a wonderful little boy with a lot of character. He has the ability to focus like both his parents and sets of grandparents. We will see if it continues as he grows older. Today Brennan has on a tee shirt with a print of a white coat, blue shirt and red and blue tie and a pocket that says “Dr. McCutie above it and a print of a stethoscope hanging around the next as well as medical paraphernalia sticking out of the pocket. Very funny.

You waited until you could catch a photo with a more adult look on his face as he lay amongst his ‘jungle’ and colorful blanket.

I have to admit I enjoy the boys – being a “Papa” presents a good feeling, better than I suspected it would, as I watch them mature into the young boys that they are and will be.

Yesterday you noted someone had read the post page 21 May 12 and you realized that it was then that I asked you if you would like a conversation, thus it is the first day, the preface of the “Metaphysical Lessons”. To which I agree. A good date to remember, boy. Later we will continue with Lessone Six in which the focus is still on the question: How does the soul exist? Post. Amorella

I think I may be a wee bit premature in setting the present dialogue aside, but I am ready to continue the lesson.

1212 hours. I had a light nap and Carol has begun feeding Brennan who has just awaken from his nap of one and a half hours. It is cooler and very pleasant outside today. We have a couple of errands to run after the B man is fed. Maybe we’ll eat lunch out. I have been thinking about the concept of the soul and heartanmind having a metaphysical symbiotic relationship. This may be simple enough but it takes my mind time to assimilate such an event in the metaphysical world as symbiosis presently relates to living-on-earth creatures. The central focus though is still on survival (I want to say, ‘of a species’ here) of . . . what is a good word here, ‘beings’ doesn’t fit. I almost want to personify the ‘parts’ of heartansoulanmind. I am at a loss of vocabulary, Amorella.

Use your thesaurus, boy; check ‘being’. – Amorella

I checked being, existence, actuality, essence even the words pneuma (the vital spirit, soul or creative force of a person) and quiddity (the inherent nature or essence of someone).

You were immediately interrupted and played with Brennan while Carol washed, dried and folded clothes as she ate lunch. She is playing with Mr. B and thinking of more chores or errands to do today. You don’t know where she gets the energy.

Women do things because things have to get done. I don’t know how they do it. Paul comes home after a day of patients and surgeries and takes a nap. Kim comes home and feeds Brennan then she and Paul or Carol fix supper. Kim is still catching up from being home though Case is presently out before summer session (I think). They are more efficient because they have to be and I think many get tired of waiting on men to do what they know has to be done now because something else will come up and that is the way it is day after day year after year at least when raising children is involved. That’s the reason my marsupial-humanoids have women pretty much in charge of things on ThreePlanets. (1335)

Why are you suddenly posting the time along the way of the day? – Amorella

I don’t know. I makes the blog more ‘real’ world I guess. It is my recognition of the real world out there.

Carol just left for a walk around the block with Brennan and she expects you to be ready to run some errands when she and he return. Post. Later, old man. - Amorella

Lesson Six continued:

Home after a trip to Target and McD’s for drinks. Stopped in the shade of a pretty street with 1930’s brick houses, very British you thought as they reminded of streets with the same house construction in the Leed’s region of England. Back to the vocabulary recopied from above.

I checked being, existence, actuality, essence even the words pneuma (the vital spirit, soul or creative force of a person) and quiddity (the inherent nature or essence of someone).

What is wrong with using ‘heart’ and ‘mind’? – Amorella

The central focus though is still on survival of the heart and mind.” This is better than I thought it would be. I was thinking on ‘essence’ of the heart and the ‘quiddity’ of the mind.

Let’s deal with the soul first. – Amorella

How can the soul be contained (by the heartanmind) in the physical world and be a container (of the heartanmind) in the metaphysical?

If you remember, early on in the notes and first book I suggested that for humans being dead is being turned inside out – the heartansoulanmind are transparent for the metaphysical world to ‘see’. Many of the Dead hold up within the soul-shell for fear of being so closely seen – which generally means – ‘time’ for some self-reflection in the adjustment to new circumstance. Naked takes on a new meaning for the Dead. The ‘shell’ is a human-like protection for self-privacy and basic study of who-one-really-is-and who-one-really-isn’t. – Amorella

Wow, Amorella, you really keep things in context. So, in a sense, this blog and books is I in a soul-shell.

You wanted to write the books and blog as if you were writing a response to an Angel who just asked you, “And, who are you?” As a Betweener I didn’t see any Angels so your fellow species will have to do. If the works and blog are not kept in context your insight will be lost. – Amorella

So, following . . . in this system of metaphysics it is possible for an Angel to intercede this individual heartanmind hiding within herorhis soul?

         Define “angel”. – Amorella

Angel: an attendant spirit, esp. a benevolent one;” [from the Oxford-American software].

This will do in context. Would you not expect the next world to be ‘humane’ (as it were)? – Amorella

This would be the same for all higher conscious species.

As a statement you can say this in context.

The soul exists because the heartanmind exist.

         No. - Amorella

What does the phrase (from the earlier lesson) “milk and honey” have to do with this?

What do you think? – Amorella

I immediately recognized this as a biblical illusion and felt as religion was going to be left out (or that is what I mistakenly thought) it was not right to bring it in even though I did and do not understand its significance in your context. Again, I am confronted by my cultural understanding of the words “milk and honey”. Reading the words in the original biblical context below I do not see the significance other than perhaps ‘the soul can make your heartanmind freer’ or something to that effect.

** **
7 And the LORD said: 'I have surely seen the affliction of My people that are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their pains;

8 and I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Amorite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

From: Exodus 3:7&8 -- [mechon-mamre.org] online
** **

The soul is the land of milk and honey. How’s that for a definition unlike what you read in Wikipedia? – Amorella

The soul is the place of ‘substance’.

Have it your way if you wish. Words are a way to communicate figuratively and ‘humanely’ within these lessons. [Diplomat’s little AC is also ‘humane’ because sheanhe has a heartansoulanmind.] – Amorella

Reading words too literally adds more trees than forest.

No praise as this thinking is an expected conditional. This ends Lesson Six. Next, How does the attendant enter the soul? - Amorella

We have not answered the question on how the soul exists, at least not to my satisfaction.

Consider ‘the attendant’ a sub-question for now. Post. - Amorella

You appear to be downplaying the fear of looking inward which under these circumstances seems quite reasonable.

Really? Post, orndorff . - Amorella

It takes me a while to ingest this, Amorella.

Orndorff ingesting something? Who would have ever thought such a thing. Later, dude. - Amorella

Notes - wkg on Lesson Six / diversion / hope for more forest than trees

Mid-morning. You had a good drive to University Heights, took a nap, while Paul barbecued a rack of ribs for each as part of the main course for an excellent supper. A bit of conversation, you skipped the chocolate pudding pie and went to bed. Later, dude. – Amorella

1226 hours. We drove to Target, the nearby new McD’s for drinks and down to West Fairmont for the On the Rise bakery and a Jennifer cookie each. Down to Chagrin Blvd and east to the Barnes and Noble for a copy of “Cleveland Magazine” and Trader Joes for Kim’s special request for chocolates at the Eton Shopping Plaza (where we once had good burgers at Brats). Drove back on Richmond Road, right on Silsby and returned to Traymore Road – a  pleasant little road trip. 1300 hours. After four hours Brennan feels it is time for a feeding.

You are feeling guilty because sitting in the chair for the last thirty minutes was not the least bit boring. And you were learning stuff online in the process, so why the guilt? – Amorella

I am not doing anything. The old “Puritan work ethic” is a driving force of almost continual low-level guilt. I used to be embarrassed in summers when not teaching – like I should have a second job to keep busy. Such is life in the United States. No rest for the wicked, that ‘s what people I know have always jokingly said as I was growing up – a dark humored joke as if one was never sure whether sheorhe was wicked. That’s the way I always took it.

I am beginning to be much more aware of how deeply culture is embedded in my basic psyche. One cannot free oneself from this without losing herorhis personal identity. Evidently, in this sense, it appears to me (at the moment) that the heart and mind buffer the soul, somewhat protecting it from the battering in/of the real world. If this is the case then it seems reasonable that the soul (while at the periphery of this world) needs the heart, then the mind (as the outer shield) in this world as much as the heartanmind need the soul in the non-physical world.

This is a reasonable assumption in context. There is a balance shown in your thought and given reason why there is no “middle” as far as heartansoulanmind are concerned. – Post as we are in Lesson Six which is still focused on how the soul exists. - Amorella

I realize this is solely from my perspective and thus not a generalization, but it does help clarify why heartansoulanmind are connected.

If others understand your observations here then it is also a generalization within the said metaphysics. Keep to the objectivity as we move along – expository writing is a necessity within these Metaphysics lessons. – Amorella

This is really interesting to think on. It is like I removed a bit of darkness from the metaphysical glass. No. I should not have thought this. It is prideful and besides it is not true. You are setting the path for my thought here. – rho

Keep this as a reminder of how human beings are. You are not alone in this kind of thinking. Knowing next to nothing and being blind have a lot in common. In such a circumstance personal insight and not outside sources such as Wikipedia become more valuable. Relax, have something healthy for lunch. - Amorella

You had turkey, cheese and fruit for lunch and are thinking about doing your exercises. A few minutes ago you sent Doug the first five lessons, and who with his PhD in physics and thus a scientific mind, should be of help with the expository metaphysical content as he has been with the science in book four. As you have decided to keep these lessons in a separate booklet let’s do it right by beginning with an introduction and preface and putting the lessons in order from the first forward. For now put the entire post in and begin the preface with the 23 May posting. As this work is making you ‘more content’ mention your Muse and the little story about “Are you content?” at the beginning out of respect for the lady and how she has influenced your writing life over the last ten years at least. – Post. – Amorella

I like to be organized Amorella. I am enjoying this diversion and hope I can put it to use in the last three books.

After supper and Owen’s bath – everyone is in the living room while Owen is watching the conclusion of “Cars II”. Later, Owen is up to bed with Daddy Paul reading him a story or two. Quiet is returning as the television is finally off for the evening. That’s it until tomorrow, orndorff, when we continue with lesson six. Post. – Amorella

How did you know I was not ready to continue tonight? (I thought I would be.)

Today’s lesson was too good to be real, that is, your energy was renewed with possibility that this lesson business was going to be cool, cool and imaginative enough that you are now timid about sharing it; then of all things, that you are/were finally out of your mind and don’t want anyone to know – ‘I’ll just shut up and go along – no one need know my thoughts – it’s just as well that human beings can’t read minds’. What do you say to this, orndorff? – Amorella

Nothing. I am willing to share on this blog, but it is not without offline reflection. I enjoy what I do just as I enjoyed teaching. I enjoy learning or in this case, attempting to learn how to think broader. I cannot imagine what else a mind is for but thinking broader. How else do you open personal vistas? I have no choice but to continue if I am to be what I am, an individual member of the species, homo-sapiens. We are all homo-sapiens. Heartansoulanmind is a part of what we are in my estimation, even if it cannot be proven scientifically. I enjoy thinking out the concept in a fuller sense -- and maybe though imagination seeing a bit more forest than the trees, at least for myself. - rho

Notes - Lesson Five /

Early mid-morning. You have completed the majority of your errands and chores, had your bath and are pretty much ready to go with ten minutes or so notice. As you awoke this morning midway between six and six-thirty you had an intuitive flash as it were and thought: “bees – pollination”. Then during the bath, another flash: “dark matter” and “the mythology for Joseph Campbell is as a children’s thought when playing a pretend game of basketball, i.e. this is the world championship and I am the basketball hero with this one last basket”. That’s it, is it not? – Amorella

The souls are as bees – pollinators and nectar gatherers. I don’t know about “dark matter”. I think I would be better sticking with souls as bees, though that entails honey, a hive and queen so . . .  that’s where I am.

Lesson Five continues with the question: How does the soul exist?– Amorella

Last night you were thinking about how planets exist, how they came into being in terms of up to date physics that you know of. What caught your mind for a second or so was ‘bodies attract’ therefore souls are as attracted bodies, intermediaries, if you will. This means a sun is involved, planets, rotations, ratios, solar systems, stars and galaxies – it is an extremely efficient (not by human standards because we don’t know the whole metaphysical organization, and what is beyond the) ‘systematic operation’. – Amorella

True, but that entails so much and I can only work with souls and how they exist, Amorella. Is there a relationship between the soul and something else as well as a relationship of the soul to the heartanmind of an individual with higher consciousness?

         Yes. Cows. – Amorella

         Milk, not honey?

Milk and honey. Lesson Five will continue.   Post. – Amorella

What? You are kidding me? A biblical allusion?

How dare I?” That is your quiet thought, boy. – Amorella

Lesson Five is complete. – Now, post. - Amorella

I don't know what to say.

Who asked you to say anything? - Amorella

Notes - a nearly determined blank slate / proverbial powder / Mother's deception / Lesson Four

An already warm mid-morning. Off to McD’s earlier to pick up an ice coffee and a Sunday paper for Carol. She has been watering plants and trees since seven. You read the paper and had breakfast but find your stomach is still a wee upset.

I probably need a nap. Sugar was up to 136 whereas it has been in the lower 120’s – probably those sweet potato chips last night. I need to do my exercises today, but a nap needs to come first.

You spent time playing laser tag with Jadah the Cat and she is looking for more play since Carol is still on the phone. Take your nap, boy. Later, dude. – Amorella

You had your nap. Carol is washing clothes after her busy morning watering. You are feeling better and are going to get the blue car washed as you have a coupon from today’s paper. A few more errands/chores this afternoon since when you leave tomorrow you will be gone for two more weeks. Tim and Amy always take care of and check on the house which is easy as someone is almost always at home either them or one or more of their three in school kids.

I am apprehensive about approaching today’s lesson (if there is one) because I know next to nothing to begin with and even less about ‘how the soul exists?’

A nearly determined ‘blank slate’ is better for writing. Post. - Amorella

Nearing mid-afternoon. You and Carol had lunch at Honey Baked Ham on Fields-Ertel Road after getting the blue car washed at Mike’s. Home, you read the newest Newsweek article, ”New Secrets of the Universe” by Brian Greene, professor of physics and mathematics at Columbia University.

The article is easily read and thus well written; however, I was looking for a standout paragraph to sharpen my imagination on. In the process I was reminded of what science is: “. . . science is meant to give definitive, precise, and quantitative explanations, not ‘just so’ stories,” (p. 24). Finding scientific answers for cosmological theories is not an easy one, and I think finding and/or cataloging ‘metaphysical theories’ for heartansoulanmind leans inwardly for scientific investigation in the same way the study of cosmology leans outward. There are no definitive, precise, and quantitative explanations. Homo sapiens have an observable relative proof of higher consciousness right here on the planet with us at the top of the heap. Where is the relative proof of heart and soul? If you attribute ‘mind’ to a brain function it is of course measurable. It is impossible to show that a ‘mind-consciousness’ continues after physical death. Homo-sapiens are also ultimate chameleons when it comes to honestly displaying our most soul-wrenching and heartrending emotions – “all the world is a stage”.

What you mean to say is that theoretically studying the hypothetical heartansoulanmind (to paraphrase your Grandma Schick) isn’t worth the little powder it would take to blow away the paper it is printed on. – Amorella

You are so very good at humanely getting to the point, Amorella. I can almost hear Grandma saying those very words and then quickly pursing her lips at tongue’s conclusion – a very wonderful memory instantly brought to life with a few words. Amorella, you have at times, for lack of a better word, an angelic-like kindness and humor about you.

Grandma Schick in the early 1960's
(note the Howdy Doody cookie jar ;-)

Shortly you and Carol will be off for another errand or two. Post. - Amorella

1708 hours. We are at Kroger’s on Tylersville on the way home from The Streets of Westchester Mall.

Don’t write what you are presently thinking in terms of ‘thoughts from your heart’. Lack of understanding in such an area leads to self-doubt and confusion, that with you, generally leads to professed guilt on not being as good as you should be (instilled by the old parental directive in boyhood: “Be polite; Be honest”) – a maxim you continually attempt to live to your life by. - Amorella

Be honest” is first. I place it before “Be polite”.

That is not the way you first remember it being said to you for a small infraction, probably having to do with taking too many mints or nuts from a bowl at Grandma Schick’s when she and Popo lived on East College Avenue in Westerville. The “Be honest” came later, probably reinforced by Cub Scouts. Your mother was never honest in her deception of her mother – hiding her cigarettes from Grandma (Popo S. died of a heart attack from smoking in the early fifties).

I resented Mother’s deception. I resented her making me an accomplice to her deception of Grandma S. early on. Besides, Grandma knew the truth and let me know it. I tried lying myself, but while still in elementary school I found it did not work for me because of my very spotty memory as well as outright memory lapses. I still cannot remember most of 1965 or 66. I can’t remember which. A lot of Thunderbird wine in those days. No other drugs though; just alcohol. (because of fear someone would lace my drink with LSD which I had read may have been fatal for someone with my blood pressure condition). One has to have a great memory when sheorhe tells untruths particularly the variety I would come up with in telling stories about me and/or others – lots of exaggeration. I had to fake the stories were true to get a rise out of anyone – “it’s a true story, swear to God on a Bible it’s all true.” I gave it up sometime early in junior high school for very practical reasons. Plus, you can only swear on a Bible so many times before the story raises peoples’ doubts. I didn’t have the fortitude to continue making up stories and selling them as true. Being basically lazy at heart, I found it was usually far easier to tell the truth and hope the devil would be hanged for it.

Dusk is on the rise and within the hour it will be dark. You have both begun repacking for the trip north tomorrow. Post. - Amorella

Nearly dark. The trash is out at the street for pick up in the morning. You saw the last installment of “Grimm” so you are caught up for the season. Thursday has the last two hours of the Keith Southerland’s show that you have set to be copied. Otherwise, it is a light week TV-wise. – Amorella

It is and the ‘summer’ season does not begin (mostly) on USA and TNT for a while yet. Time for a break anyway. I don’t mind. I enjoy the dialogue, characters, themes and plots on many of the shows and look forward to our favorites when they return in the fall.

Carol has come down to watch a show or two herself; you have some time before bed. Why don’t we drop in on Lesson Four with a focus on the question: “How does the soul exist?” What do you think? -  Amorella

Last night I came to the conclusion that the esoteric material on the “soul” in Wikipedia is like a discussion of what the telephone is. What the telephone is is not nearly so important as to how human beings use the telephone. This is a step or two below your question because I am assuming the soul is immortal or immortal-like so it was here before we were or was created when we arrived. This doesn’t do either. I have no idea how the soul exists? I am trying to place a definition for use. I need definitions first. Is the soul immortal? I assume the ‘soul’ is a part of each ‘higher conscious species’ no matter what world or universe the individual exists in.

Keeping this simple, let’s use the following dictionary definition: the soul is  “the spiritual or immaterial part of a human being or animal, regarded as immortal.” (Oxford-American software) Expanding this definition to include alien species with souls, of course.

The soul is immortal. The heart and mind are not immortal.

Your reasoning is sound. – Amorella

My mind darts back to Anaximander.

** **
For Anaximander, the principle of things, the constituent of all substances, is nothing determined and not an element such as water in Thales' view. Neither is it something halfway between air and water, or between air and fire, thicker than air and fire, or more subtle than water and earth. Anaximander argues that water cannot embrace all of the opposites found in nature — for example, water can only be wet, never dry — and therefore cannot be the one primary substance; nor could any of the other candidates. He postulated the apeiron as a substance that, although not directly perceptible to us, could explain the opposites he saw around him.
Anaximander explains how the four elements of ancient physics are formed, and how Earth and terrestrial beings are formed through their interactions. Unlike other Pre-Socratics, he never defines this principle precisely, and it has generally been understood (e.g., by Aristotle and by St. Augustine) as a sort of primal chaos. According to him, the Universe originates in the separation of opposites in the primordial matter. It embraces the opposites of hot and cold, wet and dry, and directs the movement of things; an entire host of shapes and differences then grow that are found in "all the worlds" (for he believed there were many).

Can any material substance be immortal?

No. It is a rule. – Amorella

Does the soul exist in spite of its immortal nature?

Yes. Beings may exist spiritually in spite of their physical nature and their free will; so it is reasonable for this to be turned about in the metaphysical world. – Amorella

As souls are immortal, did they pre-existed before physical creatures of higher consciousness?

         This is reasonable. – Amorella

We physical creatures with a spiritual existence are then quite small. The soul (in keeping with the concept that the metaphysical world is extremely efficient) has a primary purpose beyond keeping the heartanmind intact beyond physical death?

Awkward question, boy, but this is also reasonable to think on. – Amorella

I feel a need to summarize here. The soul is immortal and has a primary purpose (reason for being) beyond holding and keeping safe the heartanmind of a physically dead individual of higher consciousness.

Yes. How then does the soul exist? – Amorella

My first response here is “By the will of G---D?”

The metaphysical system like a physical universe does not need G---D directly. It is set up to run its nature somewhat analogous, let’s say, to the physical universe and how it is set up, for clarification, and in this case, for human understanding.          I did not expect your directness.

It is in my nature to be direct when the questions are sincere and appropriately in context. Post. - Amorella
