Notes - Helps for scene four, chapter six

Mid-afternoon and you are in the south Macy’s parking lot at Kenwood Towne Centre waiting on Carol after a good lunch at Max and Erma’s over on Hauck Road off of Rt. 42 in  Sharonville. You picked up more technical material on windows from Gilkey a half mile down Hauck Road first and discovered that by using the darker glass for the same price the solar index drops from .27 to .19 which is significant to you. Also discussed a wood sliding back door like the one you have rather the reinforced windows. The price is four thousand dollars difference between Window World and Gilkey and Monday Pella comes out. Both WW and G’s windows will take winds over 200 mph and both are accepted as the new Dade County, Florida standard.

Ah, Amorella, this is what is filling my mind at present. Window and door buying is somewhat like buying a new car. All the technical numbers on the windows mean something but there is a law of diminishing returns depending on the local climate. WW has one window in all fifty states which makes it easy. Gilkey, like Champion, has different windows for different regions. Most people live in their houses an average of seven years after buying new windows, at least that is what we were told. All this work and money and in seven years it will be for naught except as a ‘help sell the house’ point. Fiction is more fun.

I have been thinking about who I would be dead compared with who I just was being alive. I certainly would have to dive deeper into my personality and character, my motivations and behavior to come up with a response. It is almost like pulling yourself down to the bottom line, so to speak, and saying, ‘well, this is what is left of me.’

True, but it is only a starting point in the books. All of your characters have been through this and not only resolved the problem but they have accepted it also.

There is a difference. We living are taught not to accept our basic human conditions, we think we can make ourselves better than we are and so forth. I can’t believe people in our American culture would accept too much about themselves whether are basic conditions are true or not.

I don’t agree. People do accept the conditions of life even if they don’t like them. Is someone new to life going to not accept gravity or breathing or eating and eliminating? You are over-thinking this condition of continued self consciousness. Besides, if there were complete acceptance why are the Dead willing to rebel in the first place? You need to get your brain in gear, orndorff, and grease your mind a bit.

The difference then is having no body, that our living environment is first our physical body as a surrounding not what we normally think of as our environmental surroundings? Now, Ezekiel has no body so he has to accept that first?

We can start there if you like. He needs to create physiological and psychological extensions. This is what his mind is already doing metaphorically with growing of hairs with eyeball extensions, which by the way, come from your iPad medical photos. If you can pull one into here . – Amorella.

I can’t. They said it was illegal to copy and post.

Then see what photo it is and look for the real biological photo online. Time for a break, kid. – Amorella. >

You spent a half hour playing the slots and have amassed thirty four million dollars in your running total. Two million in the last half hour.

It is a fun and somewhat addictive game but as such (IGT Slots – Little Green Men), I am sure the odds are jacked up. I am tired of writing though so I am going to veg out for a while. Carol has been in there an hour and a half, or it sure feels like it as it is four-thirty.

Saturday evening. I check the photo in the app ‘3D4Me Medical Images’, and it is a dressed microscopic image of a stem cell.

The above image of a embryonic stem cell comes close but the stem cell image in the app is more artistic. I think I chose the eye bud endings as a metaphor of self-(en) light (ment) growing. This online photo is from the stem cell resources.org library. Anyway, looking at this image I can easily imagine a sense of self-consciousness expanding in a similar order to how basic life grows. What else? How can I create a metaphysical image (even unconsciously) without a reference to what we can see and understand? It makes no difference, it is my story and this way is more comfortable for me to delve into the metaphysics.

Consciousness is being restructured without a body so I would assume it would attempt, through associative memory, to recreate a ‘astral body’ it would be comfortable with even it is a shade or outline rather than flesh and blood. Also, there is going to be a problem of recognition of the body by those who are dead. As there are no mirrors then the consciousness needs ‘friends’ to reconstruct itself in the likeness of how it appeared on earth. It is a necessary bonding of being Dead and it appears reasonable to me to carry on with this construction.

Necessity. You have the idea, orndorff. Surviving death depends on necessity of the spirit to survive with the help of its friends. And, it gives reason for helpful intimate friends to gather and help one another just as in life. A human attribute, boy. This is how becoming dead consciously works, at least in these books. Enough for tonight. Post. – Amorella.
