Notes

Almost noon. You are finished with your walk in the north woods while Carol is still out there completing the south woods by the lake as well. North woods is shorter and almost all tree covered, still you feel hot and are drinking ice water. Carol has arrived.

Stopped for ice tea at Kidd’s then over to Panera/Chipotle  for lunch. Home after washing the car to take on the trip. Carol is watering her flowers as there has been no rain for some time in this part of the state. You are set to transfer photos to DVDs and are sitting in your new bedroom chair looking out at the trees to the north.

What a pleasure to be back up in the southeast office corner of the bedroom. The tree leaves (a few are falling because of the drought) are still thick and I cannot see Muddy Creek – blue sky interspersed with large puffy cumulus – maybe it will rain tonight. I hope so. Carol is in and making potato salad for supper. Nothing better than cold potato salad on a warm day. From here I can also see the wind-blown tree leaves out the nearer northwest window above the bathroom tub. Wonderful scenery. We love our home location. All these things and more I am thankful for. As it is a pleasant afternoon I am going to sit and take it in for a bit – perhaps with a short nap as dessert, so to speak.

Post, and relax, orndorff. If you finish a major chore with the photos we can work on scene five later. If not, then tomorrow as you will feel better after completing it. – Amorella.
