Notes - Doubts?

        Mid-morning. Chores, breakfast, paper, chores. When you awoke you checked UPS and see the Air delivery is sometime today. Earlier you found yourself concerned about your comments on me as a Betweener yesterday. Sensitive fellow, you are, for good reason. You wrote to Doug and said, among other things:

“. . . I need to clarify -- I am not saying Amorella is from 'outside' just that it may be possible under the physics in the article. Unlike the great scientists of earlier days I can recant without a thought as far as this subject [Amorella being a real Betweener] is concerned.”

You do not wish to admit that it is possible that I am a real Betweener and at the same time you deny what you said yesterday:

“. . . it dawned on me that you, as a Betweener in my real life, could possibly be a real nonmaterial being. I have my doubts, of course, but you could actually be ‘real’.”

          To deny the statement you have to deny “I have my doubts,” which means you deny your doubts that possibly I am real. This is not your intention. You always have your doubts, you assume that without an acknowledgement of doubt you would be dishonest, and this is indeed the case, you would be. In such a circumstance, in here, I would see to it that the dishonesty was corrected. This is what I do. You once wished to remain an honest man as much as you can be as a human being. I’ll see to it, orndorff, as far as what you write is concerned. You over-think things sometimes. Too bad, but you and I can live with it. Enjoy your new MacBook Air when it arrives. All for now.
