Notes - Uncle John, lunch & Bob /

Home by a little after seventeen hundred hours. Good drive up and back and good lunch with Uncle John (who appears quite healthy at eighty-seven) and Mary Lou at one of his favorite restaurants, a Chinese cuisine named 'The Windchimes' on Franz Road in Dublin just on the west side of the Scioto River. Uncle John lives in the Friendship Village Retirement Community just on the east side of the Scioto in Upper Arlington, not too far from where he has lived for most of his adult life as a D.O. (Urology) and in retirement.

You also stopped by Bob and Patti Pringle’s in Westerville to be warmly greeted by Patti and their daughter Susan and her son. Bob is still in the hospital and Patti says she has never seen him look so bad as he is very weak. It makes you sad to think on. She did say that they would take the photo to the hospital for him to enjoy.

I have seen him once or twice in the last five years where he look like death not so warmed over. Both times, while driving home to Mason, I thought I would get a phone call. I cannot imagine him looking worse. Patti says he should get better and that he needs a back operation within the month. He gets little to no food at present. I assume he is at Ohio State but I forgot to ask. I hope for the best like all his friends and family.
