Notes - QM: random chance / the GTI

         You and Carol arrived home late afternoon and it is now after twenty-two hundred hours. Continuing with the logic lecture in relationship to the definition of Amorella.

         1. random chance

         2. impossible to predict outcome

         3. no link between cause and effect

         4. no elementary phenomenon is until it is registered (observed)

         5. particles/waves exist in a never-never land and in time and space (thoughts)

         6. the universe appears random, our brains are built to see order

         7. the observer changes what is observed therefore nothing is objective reality - ?

         I do not remember where this material is from or when I began including it though I assume it was in the 1980's. 

         Let’s go with it in any case. I will make comments on each from my perspective. – Amorella

         Random Chance. I see ‘accident’ as random chance. However, as my point of view is limited by my nature I cannot know if what appears to be ‘accident’ is indeed random. Faulty brakes can cause a car to be in an accident. If with investigation it is found that a particular year and model car has a greater than average faulty brakes and the cause is indeed not random then the direct cause of the accident may be the faulty breaks but the real cause may be a mistake made in the process of attaching the brakes to the car during production. I cannot know an event as an accident as such because I am not ‘production’. I can come to conclusions based on understand a situation but I cannot know. People can demand a conclusion and one can be created but that does not mean the conclusion is the correct one. ‘Accident’ caused by random chance is an everyday occurrence. Everyday human beings come into existence  because of random chance. Galaxies can come into existence through random chance. Even I, Amorella, may be here through random chance. What are the odds?            I would say the odds are not too high for your existence as a spirit, but to say the odds are impossible for you to be an existing spirit, is impossible for me to conclude because I cannot know this as a fact as my nature is limited. 


          Yesterday, I was reading Paul's newest (January 2012) Motor Trend magazine and I saw the ad photo on the last page for a 1985 VW GTI. This looks identical to the most favorite car I have ever bought and owned new. I have to include it here and now because Amorella puts me in a place far from everyday reality. This photo brings me back home. The GTI was quite fun to drive. My everyday world was made better with my GTI in it. Driving a car is one of my favorite things in this world.
