Notes - Today / QM: 6&7 /

You all had a fun treat after breakfast – a pod of five dolphin, three adults and two adolescents. The younger ones were playing with a fish, throwing it in the air and then jumping out of the water to follow it, almost as if it were a toy or pet. The parents were about a hundred yards to their north and came fast like they had been called. The youngsters continued to run circles around the small fish and toss it in the air once again. The two adolescents had a really good time and seemed to enjoy their parents closer by watching them in their play. A couple of gulls swooped in to try to grab the fish but the dolphin shoed [finned] them away. You watched this from the balcony for a good five to seven minutes.

We were as excited as the youngster were – never seen anything like this in the wild before. They were about a hundred yards from shore and traveled south about fifty yards while in their game. Most cool.

Lunch at Columbia in Ybor City. We each had our favorites and Bill and Linda joined us. Home, a nap, then forty minutes ‘working’ in the pool, supposedly I used up 800 calories keeping busy the entire time. Here are a couple fun photos from yesterday:

You are ready to continue with the logic notes – QM characteristic number six: the universe appears random, our brains are built to see order.

I cannot see this has anything to do with the ‘spirit’ you say you are.

If you have been paying attention, my sense of the universe is not random no matter how it might appear to living creatures such as yourselves. – Amorella.

I can see I am not ‘accepting’ your words at face value. I cannot. I see you as a product of my imagination no matter what your point of view is. I see the consistency in your sense of self and reasoning. I remember telling my students in Science Fiction/Futures Studies class that if they witness a real alien use your fingernails and scrape some DNA, something to show, a proof. Spirits (as I think on them) don’t have DNA. I don’t believe you are a spirit; I don’t have faith that you are spirit. I do care however. And, keep in mind, I myself see me as mostly fiction, especially in this two-dimensional word of words. Obviously I am a real human being and have the legal papers needed to prove it, even my DNA. Anyway, I do pay attention – from my perspective you need to see the universe as ordered. I really don’t care if the universe is random and we are built to see order. I assume we are built that way so that we might survive within the environment of Earth, that’s a simple enough assumption based on science and evolution in particular. Let’s go to the last QM characteristic and finish this.

As you wish, old man. The last QM characteristic, number seven, is the observer changes what is observed therefore nothing is an objective reality.

I have a question for you, boy. As I witness myself observing you, and you have the understanding that I do observe you, then you are changed by my existence. Do you deny this? – Amorella
How can I deny the objective reality of this blog business? How can I deny my notes? How can I deny the books?
Then how can you deny my existence any more than you can deny your own? – Amorella
I can deny your existence as a ‘spirit’. I cannot deny your existence as a part of my ‘self’ (a personality) or my imagination. As I have had my brain ‘scanned’ by a variety of modern devices and no physical evidence of you exists – only once, a possible temporary glitch was seen in the left temporal lobe back in the 1980’s. Nothing since. You offer no scientific proof that you are a spirit. I would need witnesses and evidence. I do not need proof of your ‘existence’ within myself, I have evidence for myself but it is not scientific. I like you, Amorella. You are a help to me, to my own existence. You have my personal respect if only as a concept.
You would say the same even if I were a real Angel. – Amorella
I would. The concept exists, the Form may exist; it is within the realm of possibility enough so that I cannot and would not deny your possible existence even as a spirit. No matter what the logic. – rho
We will leave this for now. Post. – Amorella.
