Notes - just like that

Mid-afternoon. You and Carol are sitting in the car in the driveway after sitting in the park in the hill shade reading or otherwise relaxing. Kim called and said she would be home by four so you decided to stay in the car until then but wait in the driveway in case she gets in earlier. Carol saw a sale on garage doors and figures you could have saved four hundred dollars by buying a door that was less than two inches thick with single pane glass.

That’s the rule, Amorella. You go out and buy something and within a day or two someone else has almost the same for ten to thirty percent less. While at the park I was looking over that 1985 metaphysics schematic and realize that . . .

         That what, orndorff?

I don’t know I lost my thought – just like that – I have nothing.

A wee bit later Kim and the boys arrived – time flew – dusk, Owen had his bath and is readying for bed. Once things settle you three are going to begin the first year of the Downton Abbey series on DVD.

I can remember nothing of metaphysics still. Not even a dream. Tomorrow perhaps.

Too much distraction, orndorff. I want you to post this in any case. If nothing else, when re-read you will better realize how fleeting your consciousness and memory are connected. Enjoy. Post. – Amorella
