Notes - once again, the "Amorella as seen by Richard-without-eyes" sketch

0758 hours. I cannot believe I wrote “hind’s sight” yesterday – talk about silly.

“kid’s passion” was supposed to be “kid passion” in the same paragraph, boy. You can’t take a complete snapshot of a thought,  transcribing a thought by putting grammar to the task is easier said than done. Besides, these are your type of errors – adds to your authenticity as far as I am concerned. If the notes were all doctored up it would lose its own sense of reality, its own sense of ‘truth’.

It is rather awkward to think of the blog notes as a ‘truth’ when the goal is fiction.

For you, in context, the Merlyn’s Mind series is a ‘truth’ albeit a subjective truth as any dream state is. I vouch for that, dude, no question about it. Any literary work of art defines the subjective truth of the artist if the work is from the heartansoulanmind. In your case the series is in juxtaposition with primitive cubism as far as art is concerned. Lots of written selections are composites of thought formations in grammar rather than in a painting. The three settings are as rectangles, each paragraph is as a stroke of the brush, the words in the paragraphs are as broad or narrow strokes, if you will. This is how thoughts are before they become grammar, at least in my experience. – Amorella

This thought is so bizarre and out of my experience I have a difficult time with its common sense. Picasso I am not.

Thought transformed into art is still thought, and before thought, it was thought-in-creation. One of your all time favorite short stories is “The Jade Goddess” retold by Lin Yu Tang. You remember the story was actually the sculpture of the Jade Goddess. The sculpture told the story. What is the ‘truth’ (the untold real story) behind Michelangelo’s “David”? This is not quantum mechanics, boy. Reason tempering (not human emotion but instead) human humanity, emotion is too narrow. Reason (intellect if you will) tempering heartansoulanmind is what your books and this blog are. You can acknowledge this or not but this is a ‘truth’ of who you are and what the books and blog are.

I, Amorella, see myself more closely as a “Betweener” (in context with the blog definition) than your angelic or imaginary presence. As such I do not see you literally as a person. I see you first as a heartansoulanmind (again in context). Your physical form is not my focus. In a sense, it similar to some cultural earth thoughts on angels, if you were to see me observing you, I would appear to be looking straight through you; this is because my ‘visual wavelength’ as it were is looking at a different reality of what 'you' are. Both of our realities are the same thing but manifested by our own individual natural senses. In a lesser way this could be seen if I were a physical alien rather than a spiritual alien. The physical appearance you intuitively drew of me, the one I enjoy the best, is the first one you drew because it does not have ‘theatre’ within or about it. The sketch has a what-you-see-is-what-you-get quality that gives/shows the drawing to be 'your' existential and transcendental quality. You see, it is “you” as I, Amorella, see you “observing me”. Thus, in this context, this sketch your best at defining me in 'shape', in an art form rather than a grammatical one.

“Amorella as seen by Richard-without-eyes”

0844 hours. This morning’s posting is singular in its nature, Amorella. I feel I am floating (self-hypnotically-like) in a transcendental reality when here I sit, knowing better of my environment in the large comfortable chair in the living room.

Post at your convenience as you are presently sorting this out internally. – Amorella

1612 hours. Went upstairs for forty minutes of aerobics. Had a short nap. Carol left for her [BART] retired teachers’ luncheon, this time down at Lunken Airport in Cincinnati. I watched two episodes of “Touch” and am now caught up. Carol doesn’t watch but I am still caught up in the story that has definitely been influenced by the art film “Pi”. Here is the plot summary of the film from Wikipedia Offline:

Plot [of the film: “Pi”] [edited]

Maximillian "Max" Cohen, the story's protagonist and unreliable narrator, is a number theorist who believes that everything in nature can be understood through numbers. He is capable of doing simple arithmetic calculations involving large numbers in his head. Max also suffers from cluster headaches, as well as extreme paranoia, hallucinations, and social anxiety disorder. Other than a woman living next door who sometimes speaks to him, Max's only social interaction is with Sol Robeson, his old mathematics mentor.
Max begins making stock predictions based on the calculations of his computer, Euclid. In the middle of printing out his picks, Euclid suddenly crashes after spitting out a seemingly random 216-digit number, as well as a single pick at one-tenth its current value. Disgusted, Max tosses out the printout of the number. The next morning, he checks the financial pages and sees that the pick Euclid made was accurate. He searches desperately for the printout but cannot find it. Sol becomes unnerved when Max mentions the string of numbers, asking if the string was 216 digits long. When Max questions him about the string, Sol indicates that he came across such a number many years ago. He urges Max to slow down and try taking a break.
At a coffee shop, Max meets Lenny Meyer, a Hasidic Jew who coincidentally does mathematical research on the Torah. Lenny demonstrates some simple Gematria, the correspondence of the Hebrew alphabet to numbers, and explains how some people believe that the Torah is a string of numbers that form a code sent by God. Max takes an interest when he realizes that some of the number concepts Lenny discusses are similar to other mathematical concepts, such as the Fibonacci sequence. Max is also met by agents of a Wall Street firm that are interested in his work. One of the agents, Marcy Dawson, offers Max a powerful classified computer chip called "Ming Mecca" in exchange for the results of his work, which Max eventually accepts.
Using the chip, Max has Euclid analyze mathematical patterns in the Torah. Euclid spits out the 216-digit number before crashing again. When his computer refuses to print out the number, Max begins to write it down. Midway through the writing, Max realizes that he knows the pattern, undergoes a sudden epiphany, and passes out. Thereafter, Max appears to become clairvoyant and is able to visualize the stock market patterns he had been searching for. But his headaches also increase in intensity, and he discovers a strange vein-like bulge protruding from his right temple. Max has a falling out with Sol after the latter urges him to quit his work.
Dawson and her agents grab Max on the street, and try to force him to explain the 216-digit number. They had found the original printout and had been trying to use it to manipulate the stock market in their favor, but as a result, caused it to crash. Although Max is held at gunpoint, Lenny drives by and rescues him. However, Lenny and his companions make similar demands on Max to give them the number. They finally reveal their intentions: they believe the number was meant for them to bring about the messianic age, as the number represents the unspeakable name of God. Max refuses, insisting that whatever the source of the number is, it has been revealed to him alone.
Max flees and tries to visit Sol, only to find that he has died. Max searches his house and finds mathematical scribblings similar to his own. On a Go board, with its pieces arranged in an Archimedean spiral, Max finds a piece of paper with the 216-digit number. Driven to the brink of madness, Max experiences another headache and resists the urge to take his painkillers. Believing that the number and the headaches are linked, Max tries to concentrate on the number through the pain. After passing out, Max has a vision of himself standing in a white void and repeating the digits of the number. The vision ends with Max hugging his neighbor, who turns out to be an illusion. Max stands alone in his trashed apartment. Giving up, Max burns the paper with the number, and trepans himself in the right temple with a power drill.
Later, a little girl with a calculator approaches Max in a park asking math problems. Max smiles and reveals that he can no longer perform complex mental calculations. He  the trees blowing in the breeze, at peace.

Themes [in "Pi"]

Mathematics

Pi features several references to mathematics and mathematical theories. For instance, Max finds the golden spiral occurring everywhere, including the stock market. Max's belief that diverse systems embodying highly nonlinear dynamics share a unifying pattern bears much similarity to results in chaos theory, which provides machinery for describing certain phenomena of nonlinear systems, which might be thought of as patterns.
Kabbalah

The 216-letter name of God sought by the characters of the film is known as the Shem ha-Meforash or the Explicit Name. It comes from. Each of these three verses is composed of seventy-two letters in the original Hebrew. If one writes the three verses in boustrophedon form — one above the other, the first from right to left, the second from left to right, and the third from right to left — one gets seventy-two columns of three-letter names of God.

Late afternoon and you have been working in the shade of the hill at the north end of Pine Hill Lakes Park. Carol is reading her Brad Thor novel Backdraft and you both have your ice tea and ate your cookies from Kidd’s Coffee.

You ‘feel’ a connection with both the film, “Pi” and the TV show, “Touch” enough so that sometimes when thinking about either, you have, at rare times weep for a moment or so out of an empathy you do not ‘feel’ that you have with either work. Your connection ‘shows’ your intuitive self-expression in the sketch of myself, Amorella, above. Is this description grammatically close to what you are feeling? – Amorella

It is grammatically so – certainly better than I was doing on my own. Your use of grammar is understandable (in context) and I am in agreement as I can think of nothing unreasonable about your pointed connection. The word that comes to mind immediately is intensity. In drawing the sketch I was in a state of intensity (focus) as depicted, at times, in the main ‘centered’ characters in both media productions – Max the number theorist in "Pi" and the mute boy, “Jake” Bohm in "Touch".

You are thinking about your long held theory that for one reason or another you have a form of dyslexia that prevents you or causes you to see (at undefined times) ‘word meanings’ and ‘letter formations’ askew from the normal that recalculate your thought patterns into a freshly creative sequence that you would have otherwise not thought. – Amorella

Exactly. In fact when you come up with something ‘out of the blue’ something not at all in my conscious mind, you (my imaginary friend) do the jumping from one conscious to an otherwise unconscious thought and make it conscious literally right before my eyes on the computer screen.

1944 hours. Supper at Panera then when we arrived home Tim had mowed front and north side yard, so we just finished mowing the front and north side of our yard too. Carol mowed at least a third as it was too hot for me to continue without a break; first time this year it has been too hot, that is, to where my physical concern over heat stroke conditionals hits the ‘stop working for now’ mark.

Carol is in the shower. You are both going to relax with one or two DVRed shows from Tuesday or last night. Relax and shut this down for the night. Post. - Amorella
