Notes - breakfast / good and fond memories /

You were up in the earlier mid-morning and had a pancake and turkey-sausage breakfast at nearby First Watch. Now, you are waiting for Carol at the Giant Eagle below Legacy Village Mall on the northwest corner of Cedar and Richmond.

1115 hours. Kim called and they will be home in two and a half hours. I asked what presents she was bringing us from Columbus and without a pause she replied, “Owen and Brennan”. Carol is talking to Linda who has returned from their trip to Key West. (I am envious. Key West easily sets in my mind though. Presently I am flashing a look north from the south end of Duval Street.) I need to work on these lessons and get the summaries up to date.

Oddly, in some ways orndorff you have a photographic memory of places. – Amorella

It is just misplaced imagination. I am trying to flash back and see whether the streetlight is red or green and I think I forgot the streetlight altogether so it wasn’t a full photographic memory. Besides, the best part of the flash was the presence of being there, standing on the corner. I was ready to cross the street where the old Victorian sets catty-corner from me to the southwest and it is half a block to the red marker signifying the end of Route 1. (Next stop, Cuba, some ninety miles south)

Today is a good day to complete the summaries to date. Post. – Amorella

It was very good to visit with Dave and Marsha yesterday.

Your feelings of the visit do not transcribe into words well, slide them into your heart, boy, and move on into the day knowing you stopping by to see old friends and to share an extended lunch in the shade at a nearby winery. Your good and many fond memories with cousin David are intact. - Amorella
