Notes - in the fiction of Merlyn's Mind / thoughts without words / Beethoven's 9th

Mid-afternoon. You forgot to post yesterday and just erased it without much thought. – Amorella

I should have looked it over first but mostly I mentioned Paul’s birthday, then the ‘Griffith’ twins, Kay and Ann whose birthday was also yesterday. Alta’s is on the 14th. Carol’s father and my mother’s birthday is at the end of the month. Next month Kim and Fritz share a birthday on the 23rd and mine is on the 6th. Craig’s is in September. Doug’s was on Flag Day and Laney’s was 21 May. Friends and family ‘summer’ birthdays, that’s the focus. I shouldn’t have erased it, really, I was unthinking.

You repeated it by heart. – Amorella

I did, but not from memory.

From heart’s memory, or better phrased, passion’s memory. – Amorella

I had to recheck the dictionary on this:

** **
passion – noun

1 strong and barely controllable emotion: a man of impetuous passion.
• a state or outburst of such emotion: oratory in which he gradually works himself up into a passion.
• intense sexual love: their all-consuming passion for each other | she nurses a passion for Thomas.
• an intense desire or enthusiasm for something: the English have a passion for gardens.
• a thing arousing enthusiasm: modern furniture is a particular passion of Bill's.

When I looked up the phrase ‘by heart’ the dictionary says: “by memory”. Obviously, I take things too literarily.

This has always been a weakness of yours, old man. Yet, you appear to have not paid attention – I said ‘passion’s memory’ – this is another of your weaknesses. – Amorella

I dismissed your ‘passion’s memory’ because none of the pertinent definitions fit.

You are lying to yourself, boy; not me. – Amorella

You are not being fair here, Amorella, though I do have an enthusiasm for my old friends.

One does not have ‘enthusiasm’ for a friend, at least not in my book, boy. – Amorella

         Okay. “Relationships may be complicated.”

Name me one that isn’t. One relationship above that is easily described when the friendship is more deeply studied. – Amorella

Friendship ‘bonding’ is not gravity; but it is by memories, by the passion of memories.

You see, sometimes it pays to be literal. Post. – Amorella

Passions are held in the heart and the heart is held by the soul.

That’s the way it is in here, in the fiction of Merlyn’s Mind. - Amorella

I forgot to mention my sister's birthday, Cathy's is in June.

This is not a test, orndorff. If some other birthdays eventually come to mind they are also by those passions of memories of yours. People who wish to test the heart are arrogant beyond belief, boy. And, in here they will see this is true when they find their own hearts tested. - Amorella

I am bothered by the phrase, "arrogant beyond belief".

You have an understanding of my wit, my man. And, you are witness to the "literal interpretation". - Amorella.

My thoughts hang wordless. Time to back away while thanking you for the thoughts today. - rho

My old friend, Jean, from my high school class just sent me this flashmob scene. I am sharing it with you as a token of my faith in our species:

You'll enjoy this one - especially if you like Beethoven's 9th. So Cool - Make sure your sound is on !
