1159 hours. I am waiting for Carol to do a shortened walk amongst the tall shade trees in the lower valley of north Pine Hill Lakes park. I too am among the shade trees near the short branch of Muddy Creek that flows from the springs in the lakes to connect with Muddy Creek proper that flows north about three hundred yards from this point in the easternmost parking of the lot. It has to be at least ten degrees cooler under the trees than above them – a beautiful California blue sky in southwest Ohio. In the mirrors are bright sun reflections of the multitude of green leaves among many brown-to-gray tall standing trunks – a city park woods not forest – always a delight to these born in Ohio eyes.
Carol has returned to read. Today she is beginning Chapter 73 of Baldacci’s book. Earlier this morning after checking and reading email you noted that Facebook finally plugged “Timeline” into your page slot. You discovered the whole process is rather simple and the software has already catalogued your last four years on Facebook for you – pictures and commentary by the year. You like what the twins, Kay and Ann have done with their pages and wonder if it would be proper to create a scrapbook-lite of your and Carol’s life for the eventual entertainment of Owen and Brennan. – Amorella
I have all those to-be-scanned photos of great-grandparents and aunts and uncles to work with. I could begin with “Modern Roots” first then my birth and Cathy and Carol in 1947and Gretchen in 1952. I could include our start of fifth grade photo at Minerva Park before we ventured into the new building Whittier – just snippets, an outline really of what I could do. Were it not self-serving and egotistical. Places we have traveled, etc. – the software has the sort of event-reading built in. I don’t know. Where are all my old photos? Boxes. Where are the boxes? In the house.
Are you going to include me? – Amorella
Did you really ask this or did I make it up?
I asked and I signed, boy. – Amorella
I would have to pull it off with humor.
How do you pull it off now? – Amorella
Graveyard and hangman’s humor, mostly.
Sounds entertaining. – Amorella
I will have to consider this first. It sounds a little off-beat, a little odd, a little eccentric.
So, what else is new? – Amorella
1807 hours. Been shopping for household items, replacing outdoor lamps for instance. I’m tired.
Why not post and be done with this for today. – Amorella
