Noon. You have completed Grandma's - 3 as an acceptable draft. Carol and Brennan are just coming in from a walk around the block and he is about to have lunch after a morning of play and a short nap.
He is a busy little boy. His arms and legs are always moving except when he suddenly crashes into sleep. I had the tickle bug after him several times this morning. He has a good smile and laugh even without the anticipation of the tickle bug. Brennan is a lot of fun. He is almost ready to crawl, certainly within a few weeks.
While you played Carol worked on another load of clothes. Add your story and post. - Amorella

Grandma’s Story – 3
A young woman by the name of Qwinta stands staring at a multi-shaded orange maple leaf. The orange hue is the complex of the photosynthesis of carbohydrates using the energy of sunlight. Qwinta is within sight of a body of water that some eight thousand years from her time on Earth will be identified as Lake Champlain in the united state of Vermont.
Qwinta imagines the orange hue of the beautiful autumn maple leaf as the ghostly kneeling Princess, a royal canoeist in an artfully decorated regal dugout. To touch this enchanting maple leaf princess Qwinta more earnestly imagines . . .
. . . The maple wood paddle the Princess is using and I, the Quinta, become as one in mind but the paddle, its head, its grip, is one part and shaft-and-blade are two. This is a natural circumstance as much as it is an imaginary one.
I know and understand this to be a natural circumstance. The royal hand on the grip becomes one with the drop and swirl movement of the paddle through the water. When the paddle is lifted from the water, a ripple ensues. The ripple is a wave of reflected orange in a Maple leaf and more perceptive Qwinta becomes . . .
. . . The very spirit of one whose hand dips like a paddle into the River of the Dead also lifts up and leaves a ripple as it passes from one side of the profound and ethereal current to the other side. The swirling spirit, the sculling spirit manifests itself into the maple tree reflected water is swirled into this leaf as the oar rises.
I, Qwinta, a Princess spirit and mind, am the causal connection between the Living and the Dead just as the maple tree, paddle and canoe, are one, the only causal connection between the sun, the color and this fallen maple leaf.
Grandma all wonderfully black, full bosomed, and full hipped, is colorfully costumed in Caribbean Island dress sashays around, and she says, “There isn’t a reason on this Earth for people to be touched by Perfection. Since I dance in the physical sciences of the universe, I don’t see any reason to be touched. Matter and the spirit have their own interests.”
Grandma matter sometimes settles in earthquakes as a reminder of what she is when there is an immediate connection with the Living and the Dead. Get in Grandma's way and pay. That is a rule. Human species, be they marsupial or primate, have the imagination and the reason to do good if they wish, but it is a human equation. I operate by Necessity and you have the necessity to operate.
Grandma beamed and redressed in dark-bottomed clouds with sunlight and she rained big drops, “Physics has a framework and the interior of human and marsupial skulls will shine quite nicely within it."
Muddy waters may run full and fast
And show a future from this woman's past,
This story of light leafs from orange and sun
Allowed by Nature's photosynthesized mask.
Thus from old Grandma’s waves of rain
A maple leaf and imagination sprang.

1418 hours. We are at Horseshoe Park. Carol is beginning a new paperback, Kill Shot by Vince Flynn. We had a McD's picnic, cold drinks and Carol had a quarter pounder and I had an Angus then we split half a two-day old Jennifer cookie and half a blonde instead of getting fries (no contest on that decision). Brennan in his generous kindness is always asleep on these outings. I am stuck as what to do with Pouch-3 in that nothing seems relevant from the original section chapter or the next either.
Heading home from the park you drove east to Green because Carol needed to stop by Heinen's grocery. On the way you saw several well-dressed Orthodox Jews coming out of synagogue. You and Carol both commented and assume it is Rosh Hashanah, New Year. - Amorella
1454 hours. I have great respect for the Orthodox we have observed here in Cleveland. They are polite and mannerly families who are appropriately dressed to and from synagogue. The dress reminds me so much of the Amish who also have their traditions to live by.
You don't know what else to say because you have no idea how to make a better world for everyone but the militants and anarchists. - Amorella
Few want to give up what they have be it time, possessions or even family. Ironically I suppose, the militants and anarchists are ready to give it up for whatever causes they support. I can however continue to improve my writing for the boys. I am happy and thankful I have the time to begin, even if I were to never finish redoing the trilogy the boys would come to know that that was my intention.
True enough, and the further you get along with it they can see the more genuine your intentions. As you were driving from the grocery to drop them off then head down to Obama Headquarters at Shaker Square you thought about discussing who, how and where the money was made. Paul is coming in. Later, dude. - Amorella
Brennan and Owen are being fed then you four are having Subways for supper. You wonder if there will be time to work as they have company coming over for a couple of hours. You and Carol are looking forward to seeing the new "Bones" and "Major Crimes" tomorrow as they are on tonight. You and Carol spent time listening to Paul talk about his first interview (ever) for employment as a cardiothoracic anesthesiologist. - Amorella
Very interesting but benefits, negotiations and contracts are so far removed from the teaching field in so many ways. No real life experience so we won't be giving much advice even if they were to ask. Now, when it comes to actually locating a job and signing on, we can help in terms of helping them sell this house and buy another. Lots of advice there, but they've been in their own house for five years so I would imagine we won't be needed much in that department either. We'll see how the year goes. He has another interview in three weeks, after his orals. It will also be good experience.
Suppertime. Post. - Amorella
Owen
had a guest over for supper, another two year old, a young blonde named Nadia.
Their idea of supper was to see how could talk the loudest in an inside voice.
And, let's not eat the chicken nuggets or banana, raisins or much else adults
give us to eat. There was just enough commotion to allow one of the cats to
vomit up her supper in the living room for an added unexpected event. Presently
they are outside with Paul and Kim is following, leaving you and Carol to watch
Brennan. - Amorella
Under the circumstances watch Owen is a delight.
Carol has him on the floor as I did earlier. The boy lives busy but with the
pacifier in his mouth he is very quiet about it, a real charmer Brennan is.
First, let's talk about getting the bricks
repacked in the half oval driveway and in the process find a lead in from
Grandma's story. Let's get to it. - Amorella
I forgot to add these last three paragraphs above last night before shutting down. rho
