You
awoke early thinking of a Doric column and a capitalized 'I'. A tent pole for
the Dead, an added psychological dimension, a reminder of the four-dimensional
world the living are in and they are not.
1146 hours. Yes. I am thinking this
is the reason Sophia disappears. The concept is so heavy that it goes to her
mind and throws her heartansoul off enough that she cannot sustain herself in
Merlyn's private sanctuary.
This is indeed how it is. Merlyn is
beginning to realize that as of the present he is the 'bridge' to the living. -
Amorella
I like it, Amorella. It throws more
focus and drama on Merlyn. Even Mother Glevema has shown up. The Second
Rebellion has changed many a geographical region for the Dead of both species.
It has become a larger 'world' of its own with many cultures view of being Dead
now recognizing they are not alone. The shamans always understood this. Lots of
reconciliation must be going on. You win your rebellion and find you have to go
through Merlyn (at least at present) whether you are marsupial or primate.
Everyone pays the Boatman, boy, even the
Piper. Post. - Amorella
1237 hours. If even the Piper pays,
then I know who the Boatman in the story is, don't I?
Yes, you do. Post. - Amorella

Post. Later today we can finish up the
drafting of The Dead-4. - Amorella
Mid-afternoon.
Smashburgers for a late lunch and now you are at the far north lot
of Pine Hill Lakes Park below the hill to your west. You are thinking about the
Piper and the Boatman and realize there are 'rules' that govern both the Dead
and the Living at least as far as the books are concerned. - Amorella
I do. This is very, very
interesting. The 'rules' are a part of both the natural and the metaphysical worlds.
I had not really considered this from my present perspective before. It makes
sense as both are within our own nature, the spiritual and the physical. We are
not the 'rule' though.
No. In here the measurement is not humankind
or marsupial-kind. There is an allowance for 'other' physicals with higher
consciousness in the universe (at least) that also move to a Place of the Dead,
the Beyond, if you will. - Amorella
I was thinking "nirvana"
as in Paradise, Heaven or Enlightenment and while checking Wikipedia Offline I
found "Plane (Esotericism)" which speaks of seven planes. Is any of
this useful as a common setting in this context of Piper and Boatman?
No. - Amorella
It is interesting though. Here is a
bit for my own reference.

Plane (esotericism)
In esoteric cosmology, a plane, other
than the physical plane is conceived as a subtle state of consciousness that
transcends the known physical universe.
The concept may be found in religious, and
esoteric teachings - e.g.
Vedanta (Advaita Vedanta), shamanism,
Hermeticism, Neoplatonism, Gnosticism, Kashmir Shaivism, Sant Mat/Surat Shabd
Yoga, Sufism, Druze, Kabbalah, Theosophy, Anthroposophy, Rosicrucianism
(Esoteric Christian), Eckankar, Ascended Master Teachings, etc. - which
propound the idea of a whole series of subtle planes or worlds or dimensions
which, from a center, interpenetrate themselves and the physical planet in
which we live, the solar systems, and all the physical structures of the
universe. This interpenetration of planes culminates in the universe itself as
a physical structured, dynamic and evolutive expression emanated through a
series of steadily denser stages, becoming progressively more material and
embodied.
The emanation is conceived, according to
esoteric teachings, to have been originated, at the dawn of the universe's
manifestation, in The Supreme Being
Who sent out - from the unmanifested Absolute
beyond comprehension - the dynamic force of creative energy, as sound-vibration
("the Word"), into the abyss of space. On the other hand, it states
that this dynamic force is being sent forth, through the ages, framing all
things that constitute and inhabit the universe.
Origins of the concept
The concept of planes of existence might be
seen as deriving from shamanic and traditional mythological ideas of a vertical
world-axis — for example a cosmic mountain, tree, or pole (such as Yggdrasil or
Mount Meru) — or a philosophical conception of a Great Chain of Being, arranged
metaphorically from God down to inanimate matter.
However
the original source of the word "plane" in this context is the late
Neoplatonist Proclus, who refers to to platos, "breadth",
which was the equivalent of the 19th century theosophical use. An example is
the phrase en to psuchiko platei.

THE PLANES OF EXISTENCE
In occult teachings and as held by psychics
and other esoteric authors there are seven planes of existence.
Most occult and esoteric teachings are in
agreement that seven planes of existence exist, however many different occult
and metaphysical schools label the planes of existence with different
terminology.
1. Physical plane
The physical universe
2. Astral plane
The astral plane, also known as the emotional
plane is where consciousness goes after physical death.
3. Mental plane
The mental plane, also known as the causal
plane is the third lowest plane according to Theosophy. The mental plane is
divided into seven sub-planes. Annie Besant wrote that "The mental plane,
as its name implies, is that which belongs to consciousness working as thought;
not of the mind as it works through the brain, but as it works through its own
world, unencumbered with physical spirit-matter.
4. Buddhic plane
Annie Besant defined the buddhic plane as: Persistant, conscious, spiritual awareness. This
is the full consciousness of the buddhic or intuitional level. Sri Aurobindo calls
the level above the mental plane the supermind.
5. Spiritual plane
According to metaphysical teachings the goal
of the spiritual plane is to gain spiritual knowledge and experience.
6. Divine plane
On the divine plane souls can be opened to
conscious communication with the sphere of the divine known as the Absolute and
receive knowledge about the nature of reality. Rosicrucianism teaches that the
divine plane is where Jesus dwelt in Christ consciousness.
7. Logoic plane
The logoic plane is the highest plane, it has
been described as a plane of total oneness, the "I AM Presence".

The
point is I don't want you confused by any of these suggested-in-context
references above. I will create the reference needed in terms of "The Common
Planes" for these books. - Amorella
The only rule I consistently see is
that "Every being of higher consciousness pays the Boatman, even the
Piper."
This rule is in context with "Terms of Higher
Conscious Existence". Without a higher sense of consciousness this rule
would be unknown and even unsuggestable because it is of no significance to
beings deadanliving. - Amorella
This simplifies much better.
The Dead-4 - Full Draft
Sophia
stepped off the stage and floated feather-lite onto Merlyn's private sanctuary
wearing a linen Doric chiton, a
violet linen cloth draped over her left shoulder and down in folds around the
blouse and over the hips to the ankles down. Merlyn smiled, thinking how the
style in the twenty-first century might be considered a beautiful woman in a
delightfully intimately woven dress with a long shawl, suggestively set to
crawl into bed with her best friend or lover.
Merlyn
reached out younger handed than the moment before, clasped her right hand with
both of his and said, "I am honored my friend, you are always a welcome
sight my Sophia."
"I
understand our Mother was recently here," commented Sophia in a voice
melodically soft and honest. "What a beautiful meadow you command yourself
to be, Merlyn."
"This
sanctuary is a place where I may touch the living," responded Merlyn.
"I think the Dead who are fit, find this an irresistible challenge."
He paused, "Glevema stopped by asking for you." Merlyn continued with
a confident smile and pointed to the northeast. "On the other side of the
granite mountain one can touch the present Living."
"Can
you show me one day, Merlyn?" To be alive again, the wonderment raced from
Sophia's heartansoul into her mind alone.
Merlyn
calmly spoke, "We have forgotten much of what Life is in the moment. I see
through the still living spirit of a Richard Greystone, a spirit partially
ensnared with his identical twin Robert's spirit. One day you may “ Merlyn
observed Sophia's features dissolving. She was gone.
Heart's
memory cocked the trigger, the soul rose as the sun itself, the mind formed the
billiard table and Merlyn saw the solids and stripes scattered about slate's
green field beyond the cue mark. Refocusing, Merlyn noted a purple stripe, the
12 ball rested on the cue mark. Sophia clothing was violet dyed linen, she is
the 12 ball and uncued.
The
12 ball disappeared from the mark, from three dimensions in his mind to a
shade. I have only seen this once before, thought Merlyn the Bard, in ancient
Elysium. Panagiotakis, known as Takis, the shaman who had said, "We are
from there, to here," to his granddaughter, was there below me.
We
were on this side of the Styx where no earthly tremors exist. The Prophet,
Ezekiel, was alongside Takis and two others. I was sitting cross-legged high in
the tree behind the shamans lying belly up on the shoreline. Their souls, each
alone, danced in the center of a shaded circle on the bank of the belly, the
River Styx. The shades of those once men disappeared into the riverbank that is
not much more solid ground than the granite wall mountain to my northeast that
I see without eyes and feel without fingers. The shades disappeared to a place
below the bank of the Styx, into a buried pillar of unknowable height, the
pillar roof of the vertical door to the common spring for a universe full of
unborn souls unforeseen and unimagined.
Takis,
Ezekiel and the two others were, it seems to me now, no more than four billiard
balls in the mind, but I saw them William Blake-like as fiery souls dancing not
full rounded balls on the table. The Rebellion of the First Ten Thousand Greek
Dead had begun not soon before. This action of will rose among the twelve major
cultures of the world in those days.
No
earth traveled human spirit was full-minded, nor could sheorhe be a length
straight or a width round that a common letter in any alphabet spoken or
signed. Each spirit scooted about without a self-made meaning as on a page with
no margin. The Dead had gathered in symbols of shapes unknown, lines and
circles and stars and anything imaginable. No one knew better until the common
letter 'i' rose to a capital height.
Then
a question rose to the left side of the capital 'I' and a period rose on its
right. Length and width had risen straight up adding an undiscovered dimension
to the Dead, a third dimension, height, which had only been experienced while
living and framed by time and distance from there to here.
Merlyn
returned to his rock, his throne to think and to wonder on his cocoon. No
chance to be a butterfly here or there. Today though, since the Second
Rebellion of the Dead we have perspective and a sun in the sky and water.
Collectively we will these into place so that each may, within the spirit, the
heartansoulanmind, have a place of solitude, a suit to wear to disguise our
nakedness to others, a suit of clothing open to the visitors of our free
choice. Many of the Dead will never know this form of deadanliving. They huddle
together in a patchwork quilt, afraid of strangers and worse, afraid of
themselves. No one with any sense of deadanliving can return to the living
experience in any manner but memory. No one but me at present, and it may be a
long present, but eventually I will better learn how it is and others will
learn from within what it is to be a deadanliving bridge between the
spirit-an-physics of higher consciousness.
