Notes - good fortune

         You and the Brelsford's are home in Mason, Ohio after spending the last four nights at the Sherwood Forest Resort on a mountain just south of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Along with the Shumaker's and the Crothers you eight enjoyed your time together seeing the natural sights of the Great Smoky Mountains and sharing each other's company. Tomorrow there will be time to work on the book. - Amorella

         We always have a good time. This get-together is no exception, and next Spring we meet in Texas. I forgot to take my MacAir. I have a few notes finger-typed on my iPad. Tomorrow is soon enough. The four of us had a good afternoon and evening after the trip home. It has been a very good week. Time for bed.

         The weather and the Fall colors were beautiful. What a good time. We drove into a scene that was right out of Merlyn's fictional cocoon setting. I could not believe it, the river, the hills, the farmland (meadow). The topology. I stopped the car almost immediately and took photos. Tomorrow I will share them. I have never forgot my laptop before. It was just as well. We spent the time enjoying the scenery and each other. We are already looking forward to the Spring gathering, probably in San Antonio or Austin. What good fortune the eight of us have had. For this I am thankful. - rho
