Notes - what is, is / Pouch-7 continued

Late morning. You are in the south lot at Macy's in Kenwood waiting for Carol to buy you other socks that are mostly cotton (Polo's). You have been reading over Adler's Moral Philosophy taking it apart sentence by sentence. You know this material well because you attempt to live it. You agree with the Wikipedia synopsis completely and are considering sending it to friends as a Christmas present as it were instead of a card. - Amorella

Just a thought, Amorella. I would not do such a thing. I may send it to a few friends though via email, a reminder of sort, as to what thinking is about. I hesitate though because of the didactic nature in the act of sending.

This then is where Yermey now finds himself. Hesitation. They are here on Earth for the sole purpose of announcing first, that they fellow beings who are as equally human as Homo sapiens, no more, no less. What does 'one minute' difference in machinery make? And, why is he naturally aroused by the exposure to a particular human female? This is his focus. - Amorella

1131 hours. Clarity is quite important. Thank you for helping me see this in perspective. In some ways Yermey's question is no different than any other human when sheorhe finds himself 'attracted' to another for no outwardly apparent reason (though Yermey did mention Pyl's breasts in a secondary thought). This also reminds me of the act of 'falling in love' unconsciously first thus not recognizing the reality of the situation until later. This is a shock to the system, to the heartansoulanmind.

Do not change "This is a shock," to "This may be a shock." - Amorella

1157 hours. We are at Kroger's on Tylersville for last minute groceries for Christmas. Carol wants to cook even though it will just be the two of us. Tomorrow morning we are up to Cleveland for lunch, dinner and breakfast and to bring Jadah the Cat home with us. I need to reread Adler one more time looking for a specific 'consideration' for Yermey to turn over in his mind.

Be aware, that in here conscious moral decisions affect heartansoulanmind altogether, enough so that the decisions also effect/achieve the level of humanity the person attains. This is a condition that one takes with herorhim upon physical death; this is, as it were, one's dressing gown created from the marrow of one's spiritual bones. - Amorella

This I did not expect, Amorella.

Now, at this moment, you better understand why I am here, boy. - Amorella

         I am wordless-in-thought. (1208)**

Now that you are home after lunch at Penn Station and a trip to Lowe's for three birdfeeders and food, which you put out, post. - Amorella

1459 hours. This blog is an existential word bin. I am at a loss wherein all these words have appeared over the years. Nobody knows this loss more than myself.

Rightly so, boy. What is, is. - Amorella

1819 hours. I have found the specific focus for Pouch-7 from Yermey's perspective.

**
In other words, considering the four so-called cardinal virtues – temperance, courage, justice, and prudence – the unity of virtue declares that no one can have any one of these four without also having the other three.

Since justice names an aspect of virtue that is other regarding, while temperance and courage name aspects of virtue that are self-regarding, and both the self- and other regarding aspects of virtue involve prudence in the making of moral choices, no one can be selfish in his right desires without also being altruistic, and conversely.

This explains why a morally virtuous person ought to be just even though his or her being just may appear only to serve the good of others. According to the unity of virtue, the individual cannot have the self-regarding aspects of virtue – temperance and courage – without also having the other regarding aspect of virtue, which is justice.

You had a relaxing bath and are considering how the setting is aboard Ship. The inner focus of Yermey is on Justice, Temperance and Courage. Let's go see how he is putting this together before he speaks to Friendly and Hartolite. - Amorella

2142 hours. I have 232 words in Yermey's thoughts before he speaks with Friendly and Hartolite.

These words will work for present. Drop them in and post. All for tonight, boy. - Amorella

Pouch-7 continued:
**
Yermey sat comfortably in the chair-with-meditation-mode-max. He heard Friendly and Hartolite enter the room-in-mind-place from his far-away-right like the gentle rustling of leaves ahead on his solitary path. Though his body lay motionless Yermey shifted his notions to the left and his mind circulated left into a relocated thought.

We have taken the courage to come to Earth on our own, independent of our elected Council of Parents-in-Charge and our many Three-Planet kin and untied cousins. The primary objective is to instill into these humanized primates that we are real, that Three-Planets is real and exists in the shared space of this galactic-pouch and that we here-without-polite-invitation on their planet.

Our Parents-in-Charge are more fearful of these similar though alien beings than they are in their much-weathered patience to acknowledge and greet. They lack the foresight and courage to learn, to accept that though our civilization is twenty thousand years advanced we may be missing an aspect of our humanity this much younger civilization still has.

Our being here on Earth is to show a just equality within both of our species even though we marsupial humanoids have a technical advantage through our sciences and mathematics. Our separate species philosophies are so similar to be almost identical. Our separate species sense-of-equality is in our recognition of heartansoulanmind. This is what we must show through our kindness and patience. This is why we are here; this is what we are about.      238 words
