Notes - earthangrassed / pre-Dead 11 / images for imagination / give it a rest

1014 hours. I would have never thought of putting earth dirt and grass in the Annex.

That is because you are not a marsupial humanoid. They know what is important to them would also be important to Homo sapiens. - Amorella

It is a nice touch. Thank you for thinking of it, Amorella.

You said yourself that you like to think like your characters might. - Amorella

Strange. It was just a small gesture but I like Friendly, Hartolite and Yermey the better for it.

They had a month to work it out. There is plenty of dirt and grass in the world. They picked up both in New Zealand, public property, it'll never be missed as the soil was easily and quickly refurbished and re-seeded. Twenty thousand years plus of technology and knowhow works the same on Earth as it does on ThreePlanets.

Where did they get the money to buy the supplies and furniture for the three-bedroom apartment?

They replicated it, somewhat like a three-dimensional copier only much more elaborate. This is one of the reasons why their culture is built around serving others, plus they live long enough to serve and be served. It works for them. - Amorella

I just remembered, that goes back to the secret of the Holy Grail in the Merlyn books. I forget the secret exactly, but it is something to that effect.

One of the reasons Merlyn is the central character. These are his dreams, boy. - Amorella

No one will see this in the stories, Amorella, but I do. I think they are wonderfully put stories. Thank you for writing them for me.

The dirt and grass were too much for your heart. Rather funny to see the cynical old toad in such a sentimental mood. - Amorella

1115 hours. We have about half an inch of snow and lots of birds are gathered about the two bird feeders; Jadah and Ellie are having good cat times observing. No red-tail hawk nearby at least not yet.

Time to think on The Dead 11, old man. More on the First Rebellion but this time Merlyn is doing the remembering on how it was when he first arrived, quite an experience really. - Amorella

I don't think we covered that. Was he on Avalon when this occurred?

Yes, it makes story sense for him to be on Avalon. Carol just interrupted announcing that Jadah was drinking her peppermint herbal tea she had cooling on the kitchen island. She never saw the likes of a cat drinking tea and appearing to enjoy it. You never have either. - Amorella

Jadah does like refrigerator-filtered water better than the tap and she has been known to take a few licks from our glasses of ice water, but tea is something new. I can't imagine she learned that from Ellie because Ellie would rather knock over a glass or cup of water just to see it spill. She hangs around toilets to hear them flush and around faucets to hear the water run. She sleeps in bathtubs as well. Very funny. (1130)

Let's take a break. Later, dude. Post. - Amorella

Left over Papa John pizza for lunch. You have been sitting at the dining room table working the Dead doc for your photos of Leeds Castle and its surrounds because you used such in book four as Avalon. So, look in the book four document instead. You did find two photos of interest that we may use as a part of the 'experience' in moving from a sixth century set in Avalon to a eighth century BC set in Elysium.

Mid-afternoon. Drop in the photo you took of the moon last October.

Let's say the above is light at the end of the tunnel rather than the moon. Merlyn doesn't move to the light but instead up, almost to twelve o'clock above the light - a light green cloud with a spot of burnt orange. That's where Elysium is. - Amorella

I doctored the photo just above with iPhoto just a bit to where it is more easily seen.

The clouds represent the different earth islands of twelve cultures in HeavenOrHellBothOrNeither, so to speak. See if you can magnify this. - Amorella

         Okay, I did.

Now, trim to just Elysium. - Amorella

I didn't get it trimmed, it squeezed.

This is fine. This is how it looks to Merlyn at first, mostly flat. - Amorella

[Imagine The Flatten Photo Above Here In This Space]

It didn't work like I wanted but this reminds me of artwork on Paradise Lost so I will title this "Merlyn on his way to Elysium" [Merlyn is the shadow in the light at the end of the tunnel.]

I like it too, boy. And, I like the juxtapositioning since Merlyn is the good guy, not Milton's Satan. Post. - Amorella

Below is the illustration I was thinking of as the concept for the above doctored photo. Not quite the same but it was enough to give me the idea. Thank you G. Dore.

You have doctored the 'red' cloud Sepia, and it will serve as a description of Merlyn in flight looking back at Avalon. Add and post with  the others.  - Amorella

1703 hours. I can hardly believe we put this together today. These are wonderful images to put into words. I don't know if I am up to it, but here is my challenge today and perhaps tomorrow.

2021 hours. We had scrambled eggs and toast for supper while we watch DVRed "Modern Family", "White Collar" and ended "NBC News". I have been thinking about the "Thought Cloud Avalon" and "Thought Cloud Elysium".

A more correct term would be Cultural Clouds Avalon and Elysium, capital letters deserved out of respect. Eventually there will be all twelve, but with the combination with the marsupial humanoid higher conscious culture there will be two and they well be seen to be connected, in general, like the two sides of the brain. - Amorella

What I like best about this conceptual approach is that even in the metaphysical the same forms and shapes are used. What a natural diversity in the metaphysical.

The UltraPhysics will be connected sparingly with shared physical anatomy analogy of both Marsupial and Homo sapiens. - Amorella

I need to put this elsewhere for reference.

Drop it in "Moral Philosophy + Adler"

2118 hours. I cannot begin. I need a starting place.

Begin with a description of exactly where Merlyn is in Avalon when he is called upon to leave. Think Joseph Campbell: the hero is called to duty. Think Luke is forced to leave home to find the Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi. - Amorella

         Who is Merlyn's Spirit Master?

His soul tells Merlyn that SheanHe is being replaced by a copy of the original Soul of Higher Consciousness. - Amorella

I don't like this. I don't want to copy Joseph Campbell. Merlyn is not a hero. A soul being replaced by an earlier one is too Higher Consciousness, too much beads and crystals because it has been done already. I want something original and more down to earth.

Merlyn was voted for, elected to return to the Living by the Dead after the Second Rebellion.

         By whom? - Amorella

The Dead, the Homo sapiens dead.

This would have to be before the Second Rebellion. - Amorella

An election is not that original either. Nor is a decree.

Why not take it back to the Holy Grail? - Amorella

I respect the concepts of the Christians and Muslims and Jews and many other religions. I worked this back to the original religion, the Jews, and imagined it back to G-D's Promise to Abraham and Sarah; to the greater concept of G---D's Promise. There is no Grail at that time.

Why not go back to Adam then and to Eve? - Amorella

Then the concept becomes an evolutionary decree of sorts, a Necessity.

Now you are cooking with gas, boy. Something to think on tonight.

It is a necessity to grow (as human-like beings) to gain more maturity in consciousness.

To gain more maturity for Marsupial and Homo sapiens. How's that? - Amorella

This is a very grand epic-like tale if that is the case. Way too much for the likes of me, Amorella.

No kidding. That's why I'm here, boy, to help you. - Amorella

Still, Joseph Campbell is important if readers are going to understand its purpose.

The only readers right now are Owen and Brennan. They are first. Imagine them at sixteen and at twenty-one. You are writing for that age group first. - Amorella

They don't want a purpose, they want a story first.

That's what we are giving them, a story.

Then we are back to a Luke Skywalker scenario. This is too complicated to think on. If I had done this I would have never gotten through the first chapter.

Give it a rest. Time for bed, young dude. Post. Amorella
