Notes - strands of DNA? / intro to Pouch 16 / affair begins in Pouch 16? /

Mid-morning and southwest Ohio has another sunny morning. You are bothered by George Will's column in the Enquirer this morning. His point being too much is being spent on diversity and the environment management at the universities in loo of money for the core courses. You agree if that is the case. Core courses are what colleges and universities used to be about and you do not enjoy seeing this change as it modifies the definition of a college or university. You prefer the classical courses of the sciences and the humanities.

There is not much more I can say here, Amorella. Nothing can be done about this though for the same reasons nothing much can be done about gun control. People see national purpose in preserving both issues for manipulation of the general population. "Cheer up, things are bound to get worse," comes to mind and then some cynically laden dark humor for the dark thought dessert. -- A little green finch tried to land on the bedroom window, a very cute little guy with an orange beak, there's some delight in natural diversity.

And, this is the point Hartolite brings up in Pouch 16. She enjoys the flowering in social /cultural diversity on Earth as compared to ThreePlanets. - Amorella

I thought Pouch 16 was going to be about 'justice' not diversity.

Aren't the two connected like strands of DNA? - Amorella

         I don't think so.

Do you exercises. We'll work on this later. Post. - Amorella

1818 hours. I have an intro to Pouch 16.

         Add and post. - Amorella

Arriving at the room a little late Justine and Hartolite are already seated and semi-relaxed but Justin suddenly focused at the figurine sitting on the drink stand to Hartolite's right. He asked, "What is that on the table?"
"The finger-cup-with-a-top? It is filled with sacred water from home."
"It looks empty. I thought it was a vase to put a single flower in, except it is not quite tall enough."
She smiled contentedly, "When I am homesick I put it in my pouch when I go to sleep. It is comforting."
         "Pardon?"
"I put it in my pouch for comfort. She picked it up and quickly handed it to him."
He took it with self-consciousness, "It's soft. I thought it was glass." A nasty thought hit and he tried to dismiss it. His cheeks reddened.
Hartolite showed an immediate concern, "Are you embarrassed? I'm sorry if I embarrassed you. What is embarrassing? I mean, if I may ask. I will try to rectify it."
"No, no." He looked for a place to put the object. "I'll set it down here." He was in the process of putting the relic down and observed Hartolite about to stand.
Hartolite quickly stood and reached for it like he was about to spill the contents and said, "I'll take it."
Justin clumsily re-sat. "I'm sorry. I was afraid I might break it."

After supper of leftover turkey and a bake potato you and Carol watched NBC News and last night's "Body of Proof". Earlier today you watched Monday night's "Revolution" while Carol was busy choosing clothes to take. Also, earlier you checked with ATT and got a new chip for your iPad for the trip and set up a new thirty-day account for Internet service. Presently you are at Kroger's for a few breakfast essentials like skim milk and bananas. It has been at least a year since you ordered activation of the ATT chip and decided to go with the local ATT rather than through iTunes. Same setup, same price, fifteen or thirty for thirty days, then you can drop the service and re-activate only when you need it. Plus, now you can Bluetooth the iPad with the iPhone so you can get Internet service on the iPhone for the same iPad activation. You also wrote a couple of short commentaries on two of your FB books - Selected Poems by Emily Dickinson and The Search for Bridey Murphy.

2057 hours. I am surprised at the Pouch 16 intro. You have never used that lead in before, at least not that I can remember. And, it appears more intimate faster. I am surprised by the development so early on. And, with both Pyl and Justin married to boot. What's going on?

In the real world, boy such temptations happen. Marriage via the church and/or the state is cultural and there is a lot of evidence this is the case in your own country right now. Marriage has to do with taxes and inheritance does it not? - Amorella

         I know but --

But you never have had a real affair that wasn't legalized, right? - Amorella

         True.

There are five women you could have loved, married and been compatible with. - Amorella

You're being rather blunt here, Amorella.

Yes, I have thought so from time to time, but I would not have been successful having an affair because I have little memory. You have to have a memory to be a successful deceiver in any situation. I think I was in the fourth or fifth grade when I told some social lie and got caught. That was enough for me. And, I've had a fantasy or two earlier in my life of having two wives but the more I thought about it, the reality would not be so easy -- first, I would be getting 'to do' lists from two women rather than one and I'm not so easy to get along with anyhow so there would have been trouble that way too. I've read about some men having five wives to if I were married to those five women at once. No offence to any of them but I would have been in the grave by now. Far too much trouble for someone like me. But, I have an imagination and thought about it, probably when I was feeling sorry for myself or bored.

All you need to have to write about an affair is imagination, boy, and a number of books for the background. You even had a couple in the first series. So, relax. None of this is going to happen all at once. Hartolite and Justine will fine they are attracted to one another that's all. - Amorella

2130 hours. Home. Justin is embarrassed because she had the sacred water bottle in her pouch, right?

Yes, and he was thinking about where else it could have been. - Amorella

         You are embarrassing me now.

Shape up boy, there's more coming up than you might be thinking. - Amorella

         This is for my grandkids.

Give them fifteen or twenty years. - Amorella

I'm ready to stop for the night.

That would have been a good line, boy. - Grandma

         Post. - Amorella

         2137 hours. Gladly.
