Notes - Muse / wit: better than I can imagine / intro of Dead 18 /

0819 hours. I need to write a note. On FB I thought I would say, "Happy Birthday my young friend. Always, Rich".

That is enough. She's at the forefront of your Merlyn books. She knows who she is. - Amorella

1255 hours. Carol is at a retired teachers' luncheon in Mariemont. I watched last night's "Revolution" and had a makeshift lunch, fruit, yogurt and half a peanut butter sandwich. We have to take the green Accord over to Performance Honda tonight to get a free repair on the steering. Tomorrow I have a doctor's appointment at one; a change made earlier today. -- Glancing at the Dead-18 document I have about 1580 words of background but I have not put any into story form.

You will be forever bothered by the concept of a much older Merlyn succumbing to a fourteen-year old Vivien. You need to let this go and let me write. I assure you this will work better than you can imagine. - Amorella

1316 hours. Such wit. You bring a totally unexpected smile with its delivery.

Take a break. Post. - Amorella

You and Carol ran some errands and currently she is in Kroger's on Tylersville. You each just finished a kid's cup of Graeter's Spring Flavor, strawberry chocolate chip. - Amorella

1537 hours. It tastes like real strawberries (they are) and cream with good-sized bites of Graeter's homemade chocolate. Most excellent. Besides that, it puts me in a better humor. At least our addictions are legal even if they aren't healthy. The only thing else required today is taking the Honda to the dealer and leaving it overnight. We'll have to pick it up after the doctor's appointment tomorrow.

You were surprised yesterday when Kim said that Paul is looking at the Avalon Limited Hybrid himself (in a year or so). First he is paying on school debt and saving more money for a house. - Amorella

Now you are bringing up the car. Yes, I was surprised. If he stays at Marion though it is about 30 miles one-way, it would pay him to get a hybrid. It used to take me about twenty-five to thirty minutes to get to Indian Hill High School but I enjoyed the ride because more than half was country driving and when you arrived in Indian Hill it was a lot like Shaker Heights in terms of foliage -- it was like driving through a wooded (with flowers) state park. That was in the seventies and early eighties - a long time ago.

You are at Pine Hill Lakes Park far north boundary under the shade of a very high tree on the hill to your west. Carol is reading the morning paper and you both have 24 ounce plastic cups of ice water for cooling comfort. Let's go to Dead 18. - Amorella

1701 hours. We just arrived home and I have 155 words I did not have a short time ago.

The Dead 18 - intro draft

I was sitting on a recently fallen log minding my own business, recollected Merlyn, wondering how I would think as the second common element, air. Everyone knows how it is to be made of earth and neither fire or water would be so fully comfortable for the burning up or running off. Air; there is nothing so intimate, long lasting and invisible. What I could be and do as such an added element? He smiled contented, to be naked running through the woods invisibly clothed in the most free and natural of Aristotle's four. The breathe of God would be my Heaven.

Merlyn lightly brushed the back of his head as if an ant had fallen from at tree leaf and was taking flight in fright. My virginity contains my naturally creative powers and one day I will know what it is to be invisible on that day I shall become a Master Druid's Master.

And, you are happily beginning to catch the drift. - Amorella

It is a good day to begin my eighteenth chapter; my Muse's birthday. Who would have thought?

In a wee bit you will be off to the Honda dealer and will have DVRed the news on a couple channels tonight. Later, dude. Post. - Amorella
