          Late morning. Davies Trees came out and gave an estimate on cutting the trees. Carol decided to do it and you agreed. Within a month your large old ash trees in front and on the north side will be gone. Carol is going to plant an oak to take the place of the large tree closest to the house and an elm in the larger tree area nearer the cul-de-sac. You were up early thinking about "divine justice" in relationship to the books. The first words that came to mind were: "human justice is one thing but divine justice is all encompassing."

            The following needs no memory. It is instilled in Merlyn's heartansoulanmind. His personal concern is in ever defining the concept: Divine Justice. Merlyn feels his dreams; his manifestation of these selected word dreams are his definition of Divine Justice whether he thought so earlier or not. In an earlier time, in life, I was sitting on a recently fallen log minding my own business wondering how I would think as the second common element, air. Everyone knows how it is to be made of earth and neither fire or water would be so fully comfortable for the burning up or running off. Air; there is nothing so intimate, long lasting and invisible. What I could be and do as such an added element? He smiled contented, to be naked running through the woods invisibly clothed in the most free and natural of Aristotle's four. The breathe of God would be my Heaven. That had been his wish in those days when he had measured thirty-six years.

         1519 hours. We had a late lunch at Cracker Barrel and are presently at Natorp's on Snyder Road. Carol is looking for flowers and at trees. I'm ready for a nap even though it is a beautiful and cool afternoon.

          Dusk. Earlier you mowed most of the lawn, you and Carol then had supper and watched the news. Afterwards she helped mow you mowed some more and with the lawn cut and trimmed for Memorial Day weekend. Kim called and invited you and Carol up for Sunday night (they are going to the zoo with friends in the afternoon) so you all can watch the University Heights parade Monday morning, hang out, barbeque supper and on Tuesday the boys can go to day care and you can do as you wish during the day (shopping or a movie with Kim) then leave on Wednesday morning. If you go it will be the last time at their Cleveland house and it will end seven years of east side 'Heights' in Cleveland as a 'family' destination. No more Case Western Reserve University, South Pointe Hospital Campus and the Main Cleveland Clinic Campus as work focused local destinations.
