Notes - general rules / stuff / a lifting fog, wow. beyond my imagination /

As the bedroom windows were up you both awoke early to the pre-dawn sounds of people and machinery working the industrial collection of trash. Yesterday Tim said they saw a young buck and doe in the yard and they casually moved from the back yard to front and back through Lewis' and down into the woods surrounding Muddy Creek. You have had your share of nature too with both cardinal and blue jay nests either in the yard or close by, which is probably why that little black cat with yellow eyes sticks around for a handout either fair or fowl. Nature provides for a stomach but it must be filled by the owner/renter, this is a general rule just as there are general rules for the Dead.

0730 hours. I take it 'wild critters of all kinds' are owner but that higher consciousness creatures are renters.

Circumstance provides the first response to any Necessity. Reason and Imagination provide the second. - Amorella

         Adaptation. Evolution.

Again, on a pre-cellular level nature interprets the circumstance necessary for better chances of initial survival, don't you think? - Amorella

Understanding is more important than knowledge.

This, my young man, is not a rule. Post. - Amorella

Mid-morning. You are near the water tower at the upper parking lot facing east under a younger shade tree while Carol takes her walk. You will do your exercises at home. You both decided to stay home tonight and leave no later than six in the morning for Delaware.

0932 hours. That's the plan. We'll see how it works out. We did not relish sleeping on the floor and do not want to spend the money for a motel needlessly and neither of us wanted to bother Mary Lou for the night. I told Carol I am interested in stopping up at the Honda plant in Marysville later this month, taking a tour, and seeing if I can get the dimensions of the Hybrid Accord trunk. If I can we may order the car, sight unseen, from the factory itself. I am feeling more comfortable sticking with Honda; the hybrid is supposedly based on the Touring model (like the plug-in) and we'll get it loaded. Still a Honda though, not flashy like the Titanium Ford Hybrid or as expensive (I hope) as the Avalon Limit Hybrid, but we like the Honda reliability more importantly than anything else. The 2003 will be ten years old later this month, the 2005 is eight years old and neither have had problems beyond regular maintenance issues. Both have a total of more than 200,000 miles. Carol and I agree on this, and presently it seems like the best way to go. I'm feeling good about ordering the car to our specs just like I did with the 1984 VW GTI (I loved that automobile). I am ready to see what Pouch 18 will be about. I cannot see it in my head, plus, I don't see how all these sections are going to come together in Chapter 21. ** It would be fun to have them all collapse into a chapter without sections to tie the book together. I can't imagine how that could be done though. I just like the surprise of it because actually it did not come to mind until this very moment. ** (0957)

1151 hours. I did my exercises and took a nap, woke up with notice from my joints, particularly in knees, hips, shoulders and fingers. Our little outdoor kitty is still around. Carol thinks she is about six month old because she saw her, her mother and siblings with her yellow eyes open under the north neighbor's porch in March when she took the paper up to Lewis'.

This is a good place to post for now. You have errands to do. - Amorella

Mid-afternoon. You are sitting in shade facing west at McDonalds on Kings Mill Road about a mile north of Kings Island Amusement Park. Carol has a medium regular Coke while you have a large diet with light ice. You completed your errands and wanted to paint the outdoor deck table but there is too much wind. Here's where Pouch 18 is going, boy. Friendly takes charge by asking the three where they would like to go before returning to Earth, and she adds, if you three feel safe and secure with us you will have the opportunity for returning to HomePlanets with us when we leave. We will return you safe and sound. You'll have time to think about it. Before this though we will need your help for setting up an agenda with a fairly neutral government from which we can work our credentials and have some legal status, as you will be given also, if you decide to return with us. Will you work with us on this? - Amorella

1553 hours. This is a surprise. Why would this be in Friendly's mind already and why would she divulge this up front and this early date?

The marsupial humanoids need help in creating contacts with humans. They don't want to use any of the major political powers and are using the Americans to better understand the nuances of how things work from people who know or who have private sources to ask. -- You do want this to remain realistic don't you? Why else would Merlyn have such a 'future' dream in the books? This brings up what you asked about earlier. Of course each book will come together in the last chapter but not as a summary. One time a few years ago you asked if the books would be like Asimov's original trilogy with the Seldon Crisis as an opportunity for change. Well, each conclusion will be as a Seldon Crisis in that the segments will all come together and allow for economic and social change from one book to the next. Each will bring out an additional level of consciousness for consideration for Merlyn who, at the conclusion of the third volume of Great Merlyn's Ghost be ready to make a decision that affects not the Dead or the Living but himself alone. - Amorella

1613 hours. This is almost too much information Amorella. It will take me a while to absorb this but initially it is quite interesting and positive and it keeps within the confines of the books. Wow. Double wow.

Your fingers worked rapidly and the translation/transmission is a bit garbled with 'noise' but you have the general idea for now. Later, dude. - Amorella

1617 hours. I am going to have to re-read this.

Yes. It's a bit foggy but now you can better see the road ahead. - Amorella

We are home. I will feel better when this is posted. If something were to happen to the computer I will still have the information.

When you complete Pouch 18 it will complete this series of three, once this is organized properly you can put it on your cloud for added security.  Post. - Amorella
