Notes - nap first / work day / art for the artist

Mid-morning. You woke up before dawn thinking that you might conclude GMG-1 with the noun, heart; conclude GMG-2 with the noun, soul; and conclude GMG-3 with the noun, mind; then you returned to sleep. - Amorella

It is just an idea, not really formulated; plus I don't know how it could be done or even why other than to fold the content into its original container, the heartansoulanmind of the late dead bard, a seventh century Merlyn of the Scottish Woods -- something along those lines. And, perhaps since the third book of the original trilogy is titled, Merlyn's Mind and the two minds overlap, then there might be a way to overlap the first two, which I cannot remember the titles. Running Through and -- (I had to look) -- Braided Dreams. Maybe I'm getting a little carried away here. Basically the simpler the better. I just want the books to say something about how I think we are as a species in an entertaining format. I need to do my exercises and take a nap. Maybe I'll take the nap first.

         Post, orndorff. - Amorella

1131 hours. We are at Rose Hill Cemetery, facing north. Carol is taking her walk; less crowded here on the weekend and it's cloudy and in the 60's. Quite comfortable.

You took a light nap but forgot your exercises for the time being as you had errands to run. Do, as you will, boy. Enjoy the day in any case. - Amorella

1233 hours. We moved to Pine Hill Lakes Park, far north lot, facing west. Carol did more walking this time in the woods and I completed chapters 16, 17 and 18 (45%) summaries for the four sections. And have the mini 50 to 60 word summaries to do. This took me a while to get into the summaries routine. I can better see how these summaries are important.

Errors that were easily corrected. They are necessary, boy, because you don't have the mind for remembering these chapters let alone putting them in an essential order. - Amorella

1632 hours. We have whittled away most of the afternoon making ham and cheese half sandwiches for a late lunch after Graeter's strawberries and chocolate chips ice cream in kids' cups and watching another "Motive" and a couple of episodes on the Home and Garden channel.

1712 hours. I have the three chapters in order to place on the blog; which I forgot to do earlier. Now the mini summaries need to be completed.

Let's wait until tomorrow to publish these three chapters along with the mini summaries. Take a break and read one of the two magazines that arrived today. Post. - Amorella

Car and Driver will do me.

2211 hours. I have completed the mini summaries but need to check them again in the morning when refreshed.

You have done what I have suggested and are now instilled with curiosity on how this will all come together in chapter twenty-one. I will explain this in more detail tomorrow. - Amorella

2219 hours. This is no doubt better. Summarizing takes more mental energy than it might appear because as I write I try to absorb this on another level of basic foundation, blueprints or a schematic rather than as a basic outline of the novel. It is almost like putting together a recipe in my mind and then in the last chapter I have to have put it in the oven and cooked it, pull the cake out, let it cool, and add the icing before serving the reader, myself mainly. Art for the artist first -- sounds quite selfish and arrogant, no doubt, but that's the way this is being put together. Why? I don't know any other way to do it.

Time for bed, boy. Post. - Amorella
