Arthritic
morning but it was topped off with a hot bath and a pain pill. You and the
others headed to Pine Hill Lakes Park to feed the ducks and make use of the
play equipment. This was followed by a good kid's lunch at Cincinnati's Skyline
Chili in Mason. Except for Brennan, who had a plain hot dog, you each had chili
and/or cheese conies and drinks. Carol is getting her hair done; Kim is putting
Brennan down for a nap while Owen is in the back seat asleep. Kim will be down
momentarily to take him up to bed. The cats are getting along better. Jadah is
sleeping in her basket in the bedroom, Ellie is asleep in her carrier and Ebbie
is asleep behind the couch. - Amorella
1315 hours. I am facing west towards the backyard trees and
bird active feeder. I am settling in on a child-centered routine. Brennan is a
real fussbudget who understands words but is frustrated because he cannot say
sentences yet. He is an early terrible two's mode. Every once in a while he
will say a word or two, good words, sometimes a short sentence but it is almost
like he has the words memorized first although he does say them in context,
i.e. "What is that?" When told what the object is he will sit there.
Sometimes he repeats it, sometimes not. Later, out of the blue, he might blurt
the word or words out. So, he is working on his vocabulary. (1331)
For the last half hour you have been content
to have Kim sitting on the floor in front of you reading and chatting. While
working in the basement she found Neil Armstrong's autograph from 1988 at the
rededication of the Countryside Y in Lebanon, Ohio. You are quite pleased, as
it ought to be considered a treasure for the boys as well as for Kim. She
remembers the event; she remembers most important names, dates, telephone
numbers, etc. Brennan just woke up. (1457) - Amorella
Supper
is long over; the boys are soon to their baths. Again, as with yesterday, you
have had lots of family time. - Amorella
1924 hours. It is interesting that as I think of souls, life
in physics, and the growth of human beings (family), even in a fiction there is
a sense of a broader explanation that is comforting and even rewarding -- a
duty to the soul as well as to the child. It is as if both the soul and
humanity gains through experience and knowledge. William Wordsworth pops into
mind:

"My Heart Leaps Up When I Behold"
By William Wordsworth
My heart
leaps up when I behold
A rainbow in the sky:
So was it
when my life began;
So is it now
I am a man;
So be it
when I shall grow old,
Or let me die!
The Child is
father of the Man;
I could wish my days to be
Bound each
to each by natural piety.

First,
the soul is the father of the child and the child is the father of the man; the
soul-man then, upon physical death becomes a man-(heartanmind)-soul, at least
as far as the Merlyn books go. But first, I need to return to Merlyn and Vivian
-- they wait in pose for me to continue.
They wait for no one boy. These Dead have
nothing to wait for. - Amorella
That is not very hopeful.
That is the way it is in fiction. - Amorella
Truly. Such a way you have to turn fiction on its end in
eight little words. Yet, with abandoned hope Dante created a masterpiece.
Perhaps we write later tonight, perhaps not;
however, what will be; will be. Post. - Amorella
I do not mean to imply that I am as Dante, that I will write a masterpiece. Sometimes, words come up without conscious thought and upon inspection I find them misleading and somewhat deceptive.
This is how you felt when you thought you were communicating with an Angel. - Amorella
What is the point here?
For you to remember, to associate and to know yourself more clearly. - Amorella
