Late mid-morning. You are still a bit out of
sorts as well as tired. Later, dude. - Amorella
Mid-afternoon. You
did do your exercises and took a walk with Carol in Rose Hill Cemetery. Doug
saw a sign on his friend's Facebook page and felt you needed to read it. You
laughed and the words have made your day so far. Here it is.
1412
hours. I needed to read this after I finding myself in a funk over yesterday's
posted Huff-Post article on no UFO's by Eicher. Too much science and not enough romance.
Mid-afternoon. You had no lunch but you and
Carol managed to stop at Graeter's for a kid's cup (each) of black cherry
chocolate chip. - Amorella
I am feeling better but not up to
sync. We are in the shade of the hill at the Pine Hill Lakes far north lot.
Carol is on page 349 of The Columbus Affair and we have nothing going on this
weekend either than I am going with Rich G. and a bunch of fellows (some wives
perhaps) from the old Cincinnati Microwave crew to see the new film, Elysium
on Sunday afternoon. I asked but Carol is not so interested. Next week Mary
Lou's daughter, her husband and two kids are coming to the Columbus area for a
week or so. Thus, at least part of the time we will be in Westerville or up at
Kim and Paul's. Car-wise, after reading the Motor Trend review of the Honda
Accord Standard Hybrid already on the road in Japan we have made up our minds
to buy one when they come out in October. I informed our local dealer as well as
the one in Marysville of our decision so they don't need to waste any energy
selling the car, just providing us a good price and good trade in and good
service in the buy. Now, all we need is a color. We can wait on that. No more
diversions on what kind of car to buy and when -- that takes some work space
off my mind and maybe I can put it to good use in the conclusion of this first
volume of Great Merlyn's Ghost. (1549)
Let's go to Dead 21 and give it a go on the
introduction. - Amorella
1646 hours. We are home. I have had a
hundred or so words but the reading level now sets at 87 percent (it was 93). I
am making it too complicated.
Leftovers for supper while you watched
the news. Then later you watched last night's "Motive" and you are
thinking about bed. First, however, let's work on that introduction to Dead 21
and straighten that out before sleep. - Amorella
2138 hours. That's fine with me,
Amorella. I had a nap before supper.
2146
hours. Here's what I have so far and it's nothing like I wrote a few hours ago.

The Dead 21 first drafting
Merlyn
awoke from stone thinking, the Living do not understand how the Second
Rebellion began when it did let alone how it ended, he thought. How do I best
explain this to the Living?
In
short order Merlyn had rolled his spectral eyes back into his spectral head to
discover he was about to have a discussion with Glevema and Panagiotakis right
in his own sanctuary. Within from the door way to his hut Merlyn saw the oak
billiard table rise from the stone boulder just as he had risen from the stony
sleep of the Dead. Merlyn moved, gaining confidence as he glanced down from the
height of the giant oak to the table below to see two balls, each on a cue
mark, and an oak cue stick lying on the table green near the white cue ball and
on the other cue mark the black 8 ball. Merlyn blinked. I am the stick, Takis
is the white and Mother is the 8 ball. The pockets shift. One pocket connects
to the heart, another to the soul, and a third to the mind; the other three are
random existential nightmares. My cue tip needs to strike old Takis and send
him to lightly kiss Mother and send her towards the far right corner. Then,
before I ask my question I must strike with the cue ball and drive her into her
most focused heartansoulanmind corner of the moment. I can only hope to drive
her into heart's pocket for a truthfully honest response.

This
is much better but seems too long for a set up. (2235)
You will see this is better than you expect
tomorrow. Post. - Amorella
I cannot imagine how. There is no way
to successfully show the reader the needed information about the beginning and
ending of the Second Rebellion. I can imagine he drives the 8 ball into
Mother's soul's pocket, not her heart pocket though.
You suddenly remember Grandma pulled a ghostly
spirit from her pocket once. - Amorella
I do.
Post, and have a good night's sleep old man. -
Amorella
