Mid-morning. You had breakfast and
read the paper with the windows up as it is a very pleasant fall-like day, a
good day for working in the yard.
0941 hours. That's the plan -- moving
dirt, raking, sowing grass and watering. Tonight perhaps I'll mow since it has
been awhile. Working on Apple Page is interesting and a good thing because I
have to think through things that are second nature on Word. Tinkering and
editing are a different kind of fun once the mind-set is in for the long haul.
It is like setting up a new course for "Futures Studies/Science Fiction"
to teach in a time slot between classes of "British Literature" and
"World Mythology". (It was easier if I had the British Literature
class after Futures Studies and Mythology, but it was fun nevertheless. The
mind switching from class to class was like working a Twilight Zone every day
-- and the brain rush was rather stimulating. I need to do the yard work.
Post, boy. - Amorella
Late afternoon. You and Carol worked
in the yard about three hours, took a break, talked to Kim on the phone and you
are meeting her tomorrow at Max and Erma's off I-71 (the exit before
Jeffersonville). Tonight the plan is to sow grass seed and water. Your Class of
1960 gathering is Thursday, 12 September and the plan is that you and Carol
will both be going up and staying at Kim and Paul's Thursday night. Carol is on
page 51 of Brad Thor's The Last Patriot, a book given to her by her
sister Linda as she has already completed it.
1706 hours. We are sitting in the
shade on the far north parking lot at Pine Hills Lake Park. I am getting better
with the Apple Page word program. Eventually I'll have all the necessary
shortcuts down. I am using a 12-point Times New Roman font for standard type;
non-standard (chapter title-bold -28pt./subtitles -18 pt.) is still Times New
Roman. I am also inserting a break at the end of the page before the
next chapter title.
You are home and have a few chores to do
tonight. Your plan is to put the next three chapters into Apple Page
tonight. These six chapters have already been voice drafted. Once this is done we hit
the final draft on these six then move on. Post. - Amorella
1741 hours. Carol suggested that when complete I e-publish them myself for free distribution because these are re-do's and readers paid good money for a trilogy that was not really up to par (my words). I think she is right in her thinking. It is too bad I don't have a list of those who bought the first books, but I could put it out on Facebook.
We'll come to an agreement later. In your world you should be paid for your work no matter what it is. Later, dude. - Amorella
It is a labor of love, Amorella.
