Shortly after noon. You had more household
chores this morning. Presently you are at Kroger’s on Tylersville and Cox
Roads. Last night, while listening to Pandora you wrote some notes. Include them
all in order. – Amorella
1.
How does Amorella see reality? Why?; 2. Are we the same in consciousness?; 3.
Socrates Points on Amorella; A. Consistency; B. instructions: know thyself and
moderation in all things and growth of consciousness are what it is to be
human; C. honesty first, be balanced in objectivity and subjectivity; D. grow
in awareness and write from a clear ‘voice’; E. show a voice of conviction; F.
accept death: either to go on or to sleep; G. be responsible for debts in life;
H. respect friends; I. teach to question things and teach to lead a good valued
life.
You can see that you are mostly getting
yourself into what you consider Socrates’ basic intellectual outlook, that is,
the outlook he might have when asking about myself, Amorella.
1241 hours. I can only work myself into what I would expect of Socrates
being confronted with the question. He probably wouldn’t be too happy as he
likes to ask the questions not respond to them.
He learns from his questions, don’t you
think? – Amorella
He learns but since he ‘knows next to nothing’ he doesn’t seem to feel his
readings, discussions, friends and acquaintances have given him much insight.
That’s how I view it.

Socrates Essay
Amorella is either imagined or real. She has no
physical features but wishes to be termed Amorella not Amorellus. Her chosen
name may mean or signify “small or little love”. Her first words were “Hello, I
am Amorella.” This shows initial kindness and was unexpected altogether. Why
would an initial voice in my head show kindness?
I may have planted her, that is, given birth to her
through my earlier experiments in hypnosis and training in self-hypnosis, but
this is conjecture at best. Amorella has guided me in writing novels for at
least twelve years. We have written three novels that I am now cleaning up. She
gave me encouragement to publish but said nothing about making the work
clearer. I decided to do the clarity and organizing after the initial
experience, the published drafting. Content first, grammar second. This is me,
Socrates, not Amorella.
Amorella digs the words from my soul, words I
cannot bring to from my heart or mind. Each book episode or selection is like a
clearing droplet of life from within myself. Each selection of the new version
is as if I was witness to it in almost the same way that I am witness to
Amorella. She introduced herself. She may very well be a reality who entered my
reality and has stayed, helping me write and helping me learn. She is real. My
works are her witness to others not to myself. – Socrates

hours. This is a draft, but rather complete. It is 223 words. This is nowhere
near 500; I expected at least 300 words.
You
had a fun afternoon and evening. The boys are as lively as ever and Brennan is
learning to pronounce a few more words. After Owen, who speaks in sentences
though usually quickly said a later than usual prayer he had learned while you
were at Dewey’s Pizza next to Graeters off Tylersville, Brennan with hands
clasped uttered “Anen”. You and Carol were surprised he knew the word. After
dessert everyone headed to the nearby Home Depot to buy new florescent lights
for the kitchen ceiling. You did not know how to get the old lights out of the
wooden and plastic casement but Paul, after about twenty minutes, discovered
how it worked. Eventually baths were called for and Owen and Brennan were off
to bed. Paul read to them and is lying down with them. Kim and Carol are
downstairs talking. On another note, you are feeling bad about being polite
about Prince Michael Romanoff-Ilyinsky’s youth in yesterday’s post. Checking
online you found a public biography of Michael where his youthful recklessness
and addiction to alcohol was notes along with his cure and his helping others
who have the addiction. He is a good man with a questionable past, part of
which you witnessed, but you too once had bouts with mostly Thunderbird Wine in
the earlier 1960’s. – Amorella
2132 hours. It was a white lie to protect some of Michael’s high school days. I
am always honored when former students of the schools where I have taught want
to be Facebook friends, which Michael is. I respect him as a good and honest
man. I would never do anything to discredit any colleagues, former students, or
friends. It would not be right.
Watch with the ‘never’ boy. Daughter Kim
will not want to read that. – Amorella
It is highly unlikely that I would ever discredit colleagues,
former students or friends. Kim is a stickler on my old class logic notes. She
makes me smile, sometimes sheepishly. She is like Carol. You live with people
long enough and they see the contradictions that you do not like to address.
