Notes - work-a-day Sunday

You had second thoughts on today’s posting via Diplomat and deleted a few sentences before she posted them. The day went fast working on one of Carol’s last projects for the Blue Ash Retired Teachers. Then you had a very late lunch at Cracker Barrel before looking for a new Brother or HP laser printer at Best Buy and MicroCenter. You were told by a salesman to check the prices at Amazon, which are cheaper. You came home and spent an hour or so with more research on laser printers all-in-one models as Carol decided she wanted fax and a scanner included. You also looked at color laser printers but decided against it though a Dell model at MicroCenter caught your eye. No scanner though. Tonight you watched NBC News and Sixty Minutes together then you watched the latest “Grimm”, one of your favorite fun shows. – Amorella

2216 hours. I really get involved in researching a product before we buy. We have never had a laser printer at home but we both used them at school. We don’t print photos, which is the only thing we need color for. Carol could use a fax machine once in a while. We never needed one when we taught. We bought a good printer back when Carol bought her iMac but we don’t use it often enough and the ink dries up or it needs cleaned which takes lots of ink. The laser printer uses dry material so we won’t have that problem.

You will want a copy of Great Merlyn’s Ghost for a final touch up before sending it in for publication also. The Brother has good reviews as you have read. Sounds good, orndorff. Find the right model at the right price and buy it from Amazon as the salesman and Carol suggested. Tomorrow afternoon you have a doctor’s appointment about the carpel tunnel in both arms. Carol may have an appointment about her knee also. – Post. - Amorella
