Notes - considerations / content not honored

It is mid-afternoon on this traditional day of Shakespeare’s birth. You dropped off the car early and drove home. Carol went to the park to walk and you walked behind the lawnmower instead finishing all but the south side. Then Carol drove you to her Blue Ash appointment after which you arrived at Kenwood’s Potbelly Restaurant for lunch. Once being home for a short time you then drove to Natorp’s to look for trees for Kim and Paul’s eventual new home. Carol also picked up two potted plants for outdoor home decoration; this is what she is working on presently. In between times you completed the drafting work on chapter twelve and realize you have some work to do, as it is too wordy and esoteric. - Amorella

1736 hours. We picked up the car and while it is not perfect it is much better than it was. One part on the underside of the back bumper is touched up but if you look closely you can see it is not as well camouflaged. The scratches that were easy to spot though are gone, particularly where it was keyed and a couple other longer ones. I put the new pipe tips on and I think they are about an inch too long, but I’ll leave them on a couple of days before trying something else. It looks a lot better. The lawn is completed mowed but I should do a quick trim in sections tomorrow as well as trim the front bushes under the living room window. I will work on chapter twelve too. I think I am going to have a number of small but significant changes throughout the chapter. For one Merlyn has to explain flying from Avalon to Elysium in a less abstract way. Another concept that has come back to me is the idea of creating a social service that uses the best aspects of highway construction and driving rules and train and airline rules for traffic congestion and safety. These are two things earthlings have done pretty well with worldwide. Simple efficiency that is easy to adapt and understand at least in a fiction.

Time for some relaxation my friend. Later. Post. - Amorella

Evening. You watched NBC News and Carol fixed you scrambled eggs for supper; she had crackers, cheese, and orange pieces in nonfat cottage cheese. Tomorrow you have an appointment with your State Farm Insurance Agent as your old agent for the last thirty years retired and you need the meet the new one. Friday at one you have a second follow-up appointment with your hand surgeon. – Amorella

2214 hours. I have Radio Gaia ‘A Voz do Planeta’ on since Carol is listening to a HGTV program on buying a $700,000.00 home in San Diego. I was hoping it would improve my concentration but so far that is not the case as it is now 2237. I am enjoying the music however.

Do you think I cannot communicate with you with the music on? – Amorella

This is a surprise. I didn’t think I had the concentration to do so.

Boy, when I ‘whisper’. You listen. – Amorella

No question about that. I do listen because when I listen I often learn something I did not know or understand. I turned the music off just after Carol turned off the TV for sleep. I have been considering chapter twelve’s “The Dead” and needs a lot of work. I want to show Merlyn ‘flying’ from Avalon to Elysium because it reminds me of the vastness described in Milton’s Paradise Lost. There is no allusion of Merlyn as Satan – just the greater setting. (2247)

You are not telling me this, you are telling yourself, reminding yourself that Merlyn is no cultural Angel, good or evil. – Amorella

2249 hours. I must constantly remain consciously aware so that I am in control of my passions.

You are suffering from an illusion, boy. The control of your passions comes from your respect for a spiritual center as Joseph Campbell calls it and I call it a respect for a balance in heartansoulanmind. The ‘respect’ is the base of ‘reason’ in these books. – Amorella

2254 hours. Do you mean that reason is built out of respect?

This is a statement not a question. – Amorella

Without the basic respect then reason is more subject to fallacy.

Without the respect reason is a fallacy. – Amorella

2258 hours. I need to look up respect for clarification.

** **
respect - noun

• due regard for the feelings, wishes, rights, or traditions of others: respect for human rights.

Selected from the Oxford-American software

I did the editing and selection here. – Amorella

2305 hours. I would like to amend this to include the “respect for possible otherworld creatures with humane spirit and for Betweeners such as yourself”.

I accept this amendment within your personal context. – Amorella

2310 hours. I am content with this. Thank you kindly, Amorella.

Content is the proper word, not honored. You are learning. Post. - Amorella
