Upon awakening you told Carol that the
shower curtain had fallen and chipped the top of the tub. When she came to look
both cats followed her up then hid under the bed in Kim’s old room. You think
they might be guilty as ‘uncharged’ but Carol does not and attempted to coax
them out. Spooky came out but Jadah did not. You both get a chuckle out of this
and there is a lesson in the observation. – Amorella
0845 hours. If there is I don’t see it, other than one cat is more
sensitive than the other. Besides, the curtain may have just fallen, it has
happened before when we did not have cats.
You just ‘jumped’ from this to your character Justin who
intuitively feels he trusts Ship more than people, and that you don’t trust
gravity that fell the shower curtain, or the cats or even yourself for that
matter. – Amorella
Guilty as charged.

2127 hours. I got in
less than a half hour ago. Mary Ann was kind enough to take me just before
closing. It has been a busy day.
Mid-afternoon. You just finished lunch at
Marx Bagels on Kenwood in Blue Ash. Carol is on page 215 of Lee Child’s Don’t
Look Back. Earlier you mowed the front and south side yard and later you
plan to see Mary Ann at Quick Cuts for a haircut and beard trim at Carol’s
request. Tomorrow, she has breakfast with retired teacher friends and early
afternoon you have an appointment t Kings VW to see an independent car touch-up
painter to give you an estimate on the Accord. You have used this fellow before
and you are looking forward to him doing the touch ups to keep the Honda
looking good on the exterior. – Amorella
1454 hours. Someone keyed the right front fender a couple weeks ago and
it has a few other touch-ups – it has been three or four years since it was
touched up. I’m glad this expert is still working in the area. He touches up
lots of cars in the Kings Auto Mall, both new and used I would imagine. He has
a cool truck with all kinds of paints and mixtures he can use. When he is
finished you would never know there was a problem and I’ve never had a problem
at the car wash after. I haven’t waxed cars by hand since the ‘invention’ of
clear coat. Carol is about ready to complete a chapter (I think) and we’ll be
heading home. Sunday Gayle and Ralph drove their year old Prius to lunch and we
ended up talking about hybrids. They love theirs and had one earlier. I just
keep saying “Paul is trying to talk us into a new one,” as a strategy. Carol
isn’t negative, so one day maybe we’ll buy one. In the meantime we want the
Accord to stay looking clean and cool. I think that once I clean and spruce up
the interior I’ll put a couple chrome pipe tips on it later this Spring. If we
are going to keep it a good while I might get the windows tinted also. (1509)
You finally got your haircut after sundown.
