You are at Pine Hill Lakes Park sitting in
the shade waiting for Carol. The morning is pleasantly summer cool with a light
breeze and full sun. You have set the stage for the clean up of characters. Rob
and Connie’s daughter Julie has a husband, Calvin Marcos and they have a son,
David, now five. Rich and Cyndi have a daughter, Jennifer and her husband is
Allen Jameson; they have a daughter, Ronda Ann.
Mid-afternoon. Carol suggested (out of the
blue) that you go out for dinner and since you have had our fill of steak for
the moment you drove to Olive Garden with a five-dollar coupon. You both had
‘summer special’ dinners plus desserts to go. Upon arriving home Carol wanted
to go to Natorp’s, which is where you are presently. The warm summer sun has
given away to partial clouds and it is to rain tomorrow. You painted the post,
the mailbox where it needed it, and have the new black address numbers to put
on the post as well as eight new screws to hold the box onto place. So far it
has been a good day. Earlier Kim, Paul and the boys called to wish you a Happy
Father’s Day. You were both surprised to hear Brennan say, “Happy Father’s Day,
Papa!” I think he was surprised too because he said it five or six times after
that. Owen said it once then got busy with something else. Paul shouted from
across the room. They got word that their house should be done about the middle
of September – this week the stone went up and it looks the way they hoped it
would look so that’s good. You are home. Carol is reading the paper; you
haven’t changed to more casual clothes yet and are basically still full from
dinner. Post. – Amorella
Your right wrist/hand got tired turning the
screwdriver so you put the eight screws in to a quarter inch and are charging the
battery on the portable drill/driver to finish the job either tonight or in the
morning. The address numbers took some time but with both of you eyeballing the
spaces it was completed in short order.
