27 October 14
Saturday, 25 October. You had a busy family fun day and in the evening you
drove to Kim and Paul’s in time to say goodnight to the boys. Sunday, 26 October. Carol, Kim, Gayle and Paul
did the moving of closets, etc. You watched the boys in the afternoon while
they worked at the new house. Last night Ralph joined everyone for dinner at
Max and Erma’s at Polaris Shopping. Everyone was quite tired and bedded down
earlier than usual. (Today), Monday, 27
October, you and Carol loaded the car and took a full load of bedding, etc.
to the house, where Gayle now is with Carol finishing up the rest of the
shelving paper.
1355 hours. We bought lunch for the movers; they have
finished the first truckload. – The movers left about 1900 hours as I was
returning to the house with Jet pizzas for supper.
28 October
Time
for bed. You worked at the old house clean up in the morning and arrived home
mid-afternoon. Tonight you and Carol relaxed with “Secretary of State”, “Blue
Bloods” and the news while Carol was washing clothes. Then while she was
ironing you watched the new season opener of “Grimm”. Your old iPad is missing
but you assume it will turn up though Kim says it is not at either house.
Tomorrow, the day for packing for the Florida trip Thursday. – Amorella
2256 hours. I have decided that rather than slough off the
Grandma segments I am going back and using the 6th century dates and any
corrections to the first volume I will make later. This means some major
re-writing to these stories so the dates are compatible with the original
Scottish Merlyn (fictional, but following L. Gardner’s model) who would have
lived in the late 6th century about the time of the legends of the
original Merlyn in the famous King Arthur stories. – rho
A wise decision boy, going with what is the
right thing to do here. – Amorella
2303 hours. You gave me an easier and still authentic way
out.
Authentic it was and still is, but I understand. We can update the seven segments of Grandma at your pleasure during the
Florida vacation. – Amorella
