Notes - the AM / Lunch at Columbia / 3 sunset photos

Armistice Day in Europe, Veteran’s Day in the United States – in reference to the war that was to end all wars. So it goes. – Amorella

1000 hours. We are going to meet James this morning, the Air Force Sergeant Jean is going to marry in a couple of weeks, then, lunch at the Columbia in Ybor City. Carol and I walked the beach this morning for the first time since we’ve been here. It is a very pleasant sunny morning with bluish green Gulf waters a few high thin clouds hanging about at twenty or so degrees off the western horizon. James is going to be deployed to Korea in January for a year. He works in aircraft maintenance. I’m tired from the walk.

You met James D. and had a talk mostly about motorcycles and cars. This will be his second tour in Korea so he is not apprehensive about it. He is in charge of aircraft maintenance and appears to enjoy the work, as this is his eighteenth year in the service. Lunch was excellent, as one would expect. Jean and James did not go but Jen and Juan did. You haven’t seen her friend Juan since last year. You at half your chicken and yellow rice so you could leave room for key lime pie for dessert. Afterwards you went back to Linda and Bill’s and chatted in the ‘Key West’ simulated back yard. Linda and Carol spent time in their new hot tub and tomorrow you will take your trunks to enjoy the scene also, that is, after lunch at the Colonnade that sets about ten feet above Tampa Bay. This is another restaurant you have been going to since the mid to late 1970’s. It has been a good family day and you are looking forward to another tomorrow. – Amorella

1622 hours. I would like to finish up the revised Grandma 7 tonight; tomorrow at the latest. I have been sitting at the grocery as Carol picks up bread and milk for the rest of the week.

You returned to the condo and await the sunset in about an hour. Later, dude. – Amorella

1915 hours. It was a beautiful sunset, the best we have seen since arriving I took many photos; one or two ought to be good enough to put on the blog and Facebook. I am discovering more errors on birth dates in particular. I want them to correlate more with each of the two families, so I am working on them. It is a slow process for me because I find myself making other errors in the process like transposing numbers. I will get it to work out eventually. I am tired and ready for bed but we are going to watch at least NCIS LA tonight. And, I will work on these sunset photos.
