Notes - wonderfully blessed / not without thought

Afternoon. Kim had a nice surprise for you this morning. She had you look out the front door and at the end of the driveway was the Sunday Columbus Dispatch. You promptly volunteered to fetch it and happily did so. Only Brennan was up playing quietly so you and Kim sat at the table reading the paper just like in the old days when she was home. – Amorella

1416 hours. That was a wonderful surprise. There is nothing like reading the Sunday newspaper in the quiet of the morning – one of my life’s greatest simple pleasures with breakfast – this time she toasted me an English muffin and had Kroger crunch peanut butter for the spread and a sprinkle of raisins on top along with half a banana and a glass of milk. Kim made me breakfast – what a delightful treat.

You find words inadequate when it comes to daughter Kim. – Amorella

1422 hours. I have been wonderfully blessed.

Those words will do. Late morning Paul found you some weights and you did your forty minutes of exercises and cleaned up the bedroom and bathroom as Jen and Linda along with Carol and Mary Lou are coming over in about an hour to see the house, Jen and Linda for the first time since its completion. Afterwards (about five) you are driving over to Max and Erma’s at Maxtown and Westerville Roads for supper. Gayle will also be there.

Yesterday, after a lunch at Mary Lou’s with Uncle John, Dwight, Jen, Linda, Gayle and Carol everyone joked and chatted until Gayle had to leave to see Ralph and you took Uncle John home then drove up to Kim’s to drop your luggage and chat with Kim while Paul and the boys were napping. They had hired a babysitter for a last minute dinner out with colleagues at the hospital so you drove back and had dinner at Mary Lou’s topped off with dessert at Uptown Graeter’s. Eventually Kim called saying they were heading home and you drove back for sleep. Carol had elected to spend the night with her sisters. It is not often that all four are together so they are taking advantage. You think: happy wife, happy life, and are quite pleased with the weekend so far. Post. - Amorella

2105 hours. I have this from the 6 March 15 posting:

Your concern here is on semantics: that the spiritual word should be written heartanmindansoul but it makes no difference in the stories as long as the word represents a trilogy of sorts existing as an individual spiritual entity. A human spirit has three unique and unequal spiritual parts. How’s that? – Amorella

2117 hours. I asked, and Kim and Paul had a solid maple TV table that works perfectly as a laptop stand in the bedroom while I sit on the bed. They are in the living room watching an old Batman film. With the door shut I am in my own private writing space. I have everything I need in this room but Carol who is still at Mary Lou’s with her sisters and niece.

You need about a hundred more words to complete Dead Eight. PouchMaster has insisted that the heart, soul and mind are three unequal spiritual parts. Merlyn had felt they were equal and has tried to rationalize how this is so, now he is explaining to himself how the three are unequal. The soul is immortal so indeed in that sense it is it is quite different from the individual humane spiritual heart and mind.

The secondary inequality of the mind is the humane heart is the root and stem of the flower, so to speak. – Amorella

2143 hours. Simple and well expressed, Amorella. I agree wholeheartedly. This is a standard I can easily see from our first meeting in real life and before in my own heart. I just had not thought to express it. I am continually amazed at how consistent you are from all your notes and within this blog, soon to be five years old in May 2015. Let me think on this and tackle the rest of Dead Eight later tonight or tomorrow. Thank you, Amorella. How it is you are here is a mystery upon mysteries. I am forever humbled. How such a convoluted soul as mine but so streamlined in short thought is almost miraculous in my mind. – rho

“Almost miraculous in your mind” perhaps but it is not “almost miraculous” in your heart and soul, boy. Post. – Amorella

2156 hours. You leave me without words but not without thought, Amorella.
