Mid-afternoon,
and you are about to head to Smashburgers for lunch. – Amorella
1452
hours. It has been a slow day so far, pretty nice; plus, it is a beautiful
summer day.
You had a quiet lunch and are now in the
shade of the hill and trees at the far north end of Pine Hill Lakes Park. Carol
is on page ninety-one of John Grisham’s The Racketeer. – Amorella
1603
hours. I used to think this sort of writing out typical events of the day was
of no use because I’ll never reread any of it, but I have found that what it
does is make me conscious of our everyday activities that would otherwise go by
without a thought.
For you this is a helpful therapy in coping
with time and space. You have the ability to reduce an hour to a single word as
well as reducing Pouch Ten to significantly fewer words and still conveying
much of the same sentiment. – Amorella
1613
hours. So, time to work on Pouch 10. – (1621) I have cut the segment down to
1600 words from 5925. That didn’t take as long as I thought it would.
That’s because you knew what was most
important – not too difficult when much of the chapter contained the human
character, Glenn, who is not in these books. – Amorella
1624
hours. Yes, thanks for pointing that out, Amorella.
That’s what I’m here for, boy. You have
several small wrens, a rabbit and three squirrels forging in the six to ten
feet of grass between the car’s front bumper and the thick foliage at the woods’
edge. – Amorella
1629
hours. None of these animals is overweight; in fact they all need nourishment
before winter sets in, poor little fellows.
Let’s return to Pouch. – Amorella
1646
hours. I have it to 937 words and Carol put her book down, so it’s time to go.
You are waiting for Carol at the Lou Eves
Municipal Pool on the south side of the park. The kids are all playing and
enjoying the water and surrounding facilities. A few people are walking through
the woods and can be seen periodically so it is a relatively busy day on Labor
Day weekend at the end of summer – about fifteen are leaving, mostly kids with
a parent or two on this very warm summer day. – Amorella
1805
hours. I need to review what has already been said about Elderfelder. – 1836 hours. – It turns out I have
quite a bit already. This is going to take a bit of time.
You are home. Take a break. Post. - Amorella
