Notes - Pouch 10 setting / when you do

Later morning. You are waiting for Carol in the parking lot near the north physical education wing of high school – not more than a couple football fields from the earth dam at Pine Hill Lakes Park. The east side of the building is still the high school complex (three thousand, three hundred students  -620,000 square feet, three stories, 73 acre campus). The west side is also connected but separate city community center. The high school itself can be closed down by sections or all at once in a very short time. - Amorella

1121 hours. We are now at Kroger’s on Mason-Montgomery Road. It is amazing about the high school. When I began teaching in the school (now the junior high) there were about 750 students total, about the same student population of old Indian Hill High School. Who would have thought? I’m happy to have taught at least one year in the new building, but even that they have added another three-story wing on to it.

You are supposed to have rain shortly. After lunch we’ll work on finishing up Pouch Ten and cleaning up the chapter, perhaps before you leave for Kim and Paul’s tomorrow for your Class of 1960 supper at Jimmy V’s in Uptown Westerville. – Amorella

1128 hours. Personally, I don’t see this chapter being completed that quickly, but who knows.

Here is a setting. Friendly is talking to Yermey when Blake or Hartolite walk into the room wondering about Pyl and Justin who had been bitten by a squirrel-like rodent at StoneHouse. Enough information is already available to put this together. Then, we have a second conversation with Yermey and Onesixanzero or Drenakite.  – Amorella

You and Carol both took a nap after a heavy dinner at Outback. You had steak and Carol had salmon as well as salads a side and dessert. – Amorella

1712 hours. It has been a cloudy gray day – I think we slept two hours, at least Carol slept most of the time. I had Jadah on my lap. I don’t know how long I slept, if any. – I like your setting and like the fact that I can choose who makes the conversations.

         Post. - Amorella

Evening. You had snack suppers (Carol: fruit, cottage cheese; you: cereal), watched the news and half of Steven Colbert’s opening night. Tomorrow, you are to be up to Kim and Paul’s by eleven-thirty for lunch. In the afternoon you plan to see Cathy and Tod as well as Aunt Patsy before supper. You did pay your traffic ticket via the postal service tonight – one hundred and seventy-two dollars, but at least you didn’t have to go to court. – Amorella

2141 hours. I need to go to bed early tonight. This speeding ticket will go on my record for twelve months. I am going to have to be more diligent in my driving. I deserved the ticket, no question about it.

         Post. – Amorella

2144 hours. I can finish chapter ten by the weekend that will be my goal.

This is not a goal driven exercise, boy. You’ll finish it when you do. Family, friends and retirement come first. – Amorella
