Mid-morning. Carol and Linda were up early
for breakfast and you woke up, as Carol was getting ready to go for a walk on
the beach with Linda. You walked out for a newspaper and had breakfast while
reading. The girls are watching the Pitts on NBC’s “Today” show. Thus is your
morning so far. – Amorella
0928
hours. One of the joys of being in the Meibers’ condo is sitting at this small
white table looking out at the lightest of brown sand touching the greenish
(with a tinge of blue) Gulf of Mexico and the fog-like horizon beyond and below
the blue sky. The horizon could be touching any large body of water in the
world; I could be anywhere else along a line below and above the equator. On
such a day as this, what would be the difference as long as I am facing West.
Time to do my exercises.
1123
hours. I just finished my forty minutes of exercises. The girls already ate
lunch . . . listening to “Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right” by Bob Dylan on
Pandora: ‘60’s Folk Music’. Ah, and next, “We Can Work It Out” my friends, with
the Beatles.
Afternoon. After having a Gala apple for
lunch, the three of you rode south to Candy Kitchen for ice cream, then north
on Gulf B. to Cafe du Paris for pastries for tonight only to find them closed
on Mondays, so back down Gulf B. to Walsingham (east) to Frida’s for bakery
goods and down Seminole to return to the condo. – Amorella
1410
hours. I like your description Amorella. I read this and in the background
think, any one of these days could be someone’s last day and as such, little
events would have more meaning. So, why not embrace such meaning now, at any
time. Why not? One has to take in this Earth business while one can do so.
Someone might read this and think, ‘Wow, what a boring day’, but it has not
been boring at all. The day has been very pleasant.
Post. – Amorella
1415
hours. Why post here, Amorella?
Sunset Up
Sunset Pooled Down
You three had
Linda’s spaghetti pie for supper and a treat from Frida’s for dessert, watched
NBC News and then “Supergirl” before retiring. Post. - Amorella
