Mid-morning
late. You and Carol are preparing to head to Kim and Paul’s early
mid-afternoon. - Amorella
Paul chaired MIS meeting at Riverside
Hospital so Carol, Kim, Owen, Brennan and you had dinner at Liberty Tavern in
Powell. This is one of the family’s favorite nearby tasty and classy
restaurants. - Amorella

Late morning. Carol is with her sister
Gayle, Kim is taking a physical fitness test, Paul is at the hospital, Owen is
at kindergarten at Olentangy Elementary, Brennan is at Primrose School and you
are at Kim and Paul’s watching deer in the field behind their house.

hours. It was a delight to have breakfast at Panera after Kim dropped Brennan
off. We two have always had a deep bonding and the anecdotal and humorous
conversation at breakfast was an excellent refresher of how far back we go
(twenty minutes after birth until now). Kim just came in the door.

Late evening. You had lunch with Carol, Kim,
Paul, Owen and Brennan at Potbelly’s at Polaris at Owen’s request. He offered
to pay but he only had two dollars and some change in his wallet. You had good
fun family time Thursday, Friday and today. Both boys are maturing in their
ages. Brennan’s birthday is this week but you and Carol are returning in a
couple of weekends because that is when his party is. – Amorella

hours. Their family is well established in their neighborhood, Kim enjoys her
part time work and Paul loves what he does, particularly in surgery. Paul is
gaining more experience in hospital administration at Marion General, Riverside
Methodist and Kenton General (all Ohio Health) but he doesn’t want to give up his cardio-thoracic
anesthesiology practice. I don’t blame him. The only administration I wanted
was department chair, I had it early on, but my heart was in the classroom so I
never left – no regrets whatsoever. I have empathy for Paul’s present position.
