Very
early Tuesday morning. Last evening you saw a piece of media propaganda that
has left you feeling eerily stunned by this (to you) piece of timeless art - a picture of Trump super imposed over a picture of Hitler with a swinging swastika over Trump. You think, ‘too much use of anger
and hate’. – Amorella

hours. ‘Do I share this piece of propaganda on my Facebook page?’ I feel an
obligation to do so. I stood in a railway car at the Holocaust Museum in
Washington, D.C. I remember the image from father’s photographs from the
concentration camps – one of the most beautiful images of naked human dignity I
have ever witnessed. (My father helped liberate Dachau; this
picture is one of several the U.S. Army distributed to those who were a part of
the liberation at all the camps.)
Your title of this photograph among the others in your hand is “Man Sitting”. When you and Bob Pringle were at the Holocaust Museum and
were sharing the photographs in the museum’s archives room the woman in charge
pulled up a larger photograph of the same and told you this man’s name (which
you have forgotten). Present the picture of “Dignity” here and post.. –

Mid-afternoon.
You had a late lunch with a Potbelly’s takeout and sat in the McDonalds’ lot on
Mason-Montgomery Road so you could watch the cars go by. Presently Carol is in
at Kroger’s and you are sitting in the lot next to the north door. The
propaganda image you saw earlier (Hitler/Trump) is no longer on Facebook, at
least you couldn’t find it, so now that’s a moot point. You are beginning to
see Word software problems creeping up and are wondering if you should be
installing a newer program. – Amorella

hours. I was really upset about that propaganda piece on FB this morning. I don’t
like Trump but the propaganda tactics being used against him are very much like
those used by the Germans before and during WWII. I think I’ve lived too long when
I see such a display of media. Trump doesn’t help himself and/or doesn’t really
care. If people were comparing me to being Hitler-like I would be doing some
serious thinking on my civil behavior. Being polite though rarely cuts like a
knife. Such is the world we live in and do not or will not change for the
betterment of our species. We don’t have the time – we are still in a ‘survival
mode’ as individuals and individual family tribes. Work, rest and relax. The
community takes care of social concerns, water, sewage and roads, etc.
You
are home. Carol is working in the yard though it is still wet from rain with
more rain coming tonight. The windows are open and a cat is at each front
window taking in the mid-Spring sights and aromas. Tomorrow you have lunch with
Rich, Bud and a couple other hardware/software engineers. Thursday you are to
Kim and Paul’s to babysit until Kim returns from a day’s business at Smuckers,
which they are taking on as a client. You will miss seeing Fritz for lunch and
your Class Supper but being with the boys is a good and fun cause in itself. - Amorella
Dusk.
Carol is making scrambled eggs with special ingredients and veggies for supper.
You watched NBC News and the last episode of the season, “Madam Secretary” earlier. In your MacAir you found a
copy, a photograph of your great-grandfather, grandfather, father and yourself
taken at your great-grandfather’s farm near Centerburg, Ohio after the war in
the 1946. Drop it in. – Amorella
