Notes - ossification of tendon / K and the boys / Doug /

You had your appointment with Dr. J.T. this morning. The official diagnosis: trochanteric tendinitis of the left hip ‘Primary’. Voltaren 1% gel 4XD plus Custom physical therapy – 1070. Your first physical therapy is 6 September at ten. Dr. T’s unofficial diagnosis is: ossification of the tendon recently cracked from the running fall from the bird feeder cleaning a few weeks ago, the tendon being within a bony calcification protrusion of the left hip. He said this is fairly rare. Carol went with you this morning. You also asked and received a copy of the hip X-rays on disk, which you sent up with Kim to give to Paul. Your hipbones are such that you will probably never need a hip replacement because there is plenty of space for movement. – Amorella

1709 hours. The day turned out better than I thought it would, for which I am grateful. – rho

After dusk. You had some teaspoons of ham salad and a glass of milk for supper. You applied the gel a second time and used the full board heat and massage on medium for about twenty minutes. You are mostly ready for bed – you are not tired but are feeling better. Carol spent part of the evening watering the grass and shrubs. – Amorella

You received a go-ahead from Doug on your most recent ideas. – Amorella

2238 hours. I’ll have to get back into that tomorrow. Kim and the boys left for home after lunch at Potbelly’s (Owen and Brennan’s choice). We had a good time. Owen had soccer practice about four this afternoon.
