Notes - no apology needed / soldiered humanity

Late morning. The electrician cancelled for today and so did Larry; however, the tub arrives tomorrow and the electrician will be here between eight and eight-thirty as will Larry. Whenever the tub arrives you are to call Larry’s office and tell them. Joe and Jason will then be out to begin work on laying out the tub. It’s the way of the world, ain’t it boy? – Amorella

1111 hours. I don’t know how the pyramids ever got built or Stonehenge or any ancient structures, let alone modern ones. We take such things for granted but it comes down to people, communication, tools (knowledge/skill) and the arrival of materials to work with. Tesla and Space X come to mind. Plans, plumbing, electric – all these things and more have to work. I remember the housing for workers outside Brasilia (1970). Shabby places set outside, surrounding a beautiful most modern capital city. It’s the way people on the world work. This is something Clinton and Trump both know and are aware of.

You moved about a bit there – from a tub in the master bath to global politics. – Amorella

1123 hours. I’m done for now.

At least you didn’t apologize. Post. - Amorella

Dusk. Carol split a large Kroger’s turkey burger and mixed veggies for good-tasting supper. You watched the news as Carol fell asleep on the couch. She’s gone upstairs to read her book and a magazine while you are planning to watch the second episode of “Stranger Things”. The windows are closed downstairs so you are otherwise ready for bed. – Amorella

1949 hours. Life is always interesting. At times I keep finding myself mellowing into the character of the Stage Manager in “Our Town”. I always loved that play from the first time I read it in the ninth grade.

This may be because psychologically a part of you has always felt to be between the Dead and the Living; ever since, early on between four and eight you felt good playing as a child in Otterbein Cemetery across from your Grandparents Orndorff. Isaac B. Singer had his Krochmaina Street near Warsaw and you have your Knox and Walnut in Westerville, that’s what’s come to your mind here. – Amorella

2001 hours. I have to shake my head that this comes out of my head. I don’t mean to imply I see myself as an Isaac Bashevis Singer, but I do see a writing connection between the two streets. I had not thought that before but I have an empathy and understanding for Singer in any case.

You misspeak. You have a soldiered humanity for such a man as Isaac Bashevis Singer’s stories. – Amorella

2008 hours. Yes, much better stated Amorella. Thank you. I have a soldiered humanity for Isaac Bashevis Singer’s stories.

       Post. - Amorella
