Mid-morning. Carol has a hair appointment
at eleven. You both had breakfast and read the paper as almost always. Jadah
just came downstairs while Spooky sits on the makeshift two foot stand under
the tree.
0953 hours. This appears to be settling in to
a sit around and do nothing day which there is nothing wrong with once in a
while.
How
do you know there is nothing wrong with sitting around and doing nothing, boy?
- Amorella
0956 hours. I don't. I know better. I need to
do my exercises. No excuses that aren't BS.
Post.
- Amorella
Carol is at the hairdresser and you are
sitting in the chair debating as to when to get dressed. - Amorella
1107 hours. I've been playing with the cat. She
wanted one of her cloth snuggle boxes to be put back over by the heater, which
I did and draped the blanket over to shut the cold off from the window. She has
five stuffed mice friends and four are up by the window, the other is in the
snuggle box with her. I stayed up and read the new Popular Science that also
arrived yesterday. I do need to get a move on. Carol wants to run more errands
when she comes home which means I'll have to postpone my exercises until
tonight or tomorrow. I had a everything cookie this morning to end breakfast --
took it out of the freezer and nibbled it a little at a time taking the outer
part around and in so by the last few bites it was all unfrozen. Awesome
cookie, however, I am sure it raised my sugar and made me really tired. Too
much going on to nap as I usually do. Now I'm running words from fingertips
without really a conscious clue until now.
Early afternoon. You stopped at the Bird
Food shop and then had lunch at Smashburgers. Carol's e forgot appointment was
at one not eleven so now she is at the hairdressers. After, you have to return
to Macy's for what she forgot yesterday. - Amorella
1311 hours. The joys of retirement still. If
something is forgotten it can be taken care of today or tomorrow. It's easier
and more natural to move with the sun than the clock. What do you want to do
with draft six?
1320 hours. Okay, This is what I have
unconsciously but I don't know if this is me, the Soki or you, Amorella
directing.
" This is the Soki. I am a Betweener; that is I exist between the spiritual
world and a multiple of physical universes."
I don't know if this is attached as a preface to
definition six or if it is a part of the unfinished Soki preface/introduction,
or is this the beginning of another section to be dropped in somewhere else?
This definition section begins the entrance
to the book; it is, as it were, a note to the reader. I, the Amorella, take the
part of the Soki, who plays a character somewhat dimensionally similar to the
Stage Manager in Wilder's Our Town. - Amorella
1339
hours. Thank you for bringing this back to me. The definition must always come
first. While the Preface begun earlier is a continued introduction to the Soki,
it is also an introduction to the story. This definition section is indeed a
note to the reader as to who the Soki is and how he will tell his story not the
story itself.
Yes, you have the concept. The reader has to
accept the Soki for who and what he is first just as you had to accept me for
who or what I am. - Amorella
1345 hours. "Accept" is the key word. This is to develop a
perspective that is 'alien' even more so than the marsupial humanoids are
alien. I like the twist. I don't really care about developing a real audience
though. It is not in my nature to develop a commercial product. (1350)
You are again at Macy's south lot in
Handicapped area waiting for Carol. - Amorella
1441 hours. Do you want me to continue then as I was.
Go ahead. - Amorella
1519 hours. I have completed this assignment, as it were.
Add and post as a whole piece. This, completed
Draft Six, will constitute the beginning of Draft Seven. Post when applicable.

Definition Outline,
draft 6/7 ©2016 rho Soki's Choice
This is the Soki. I am a Betweener; I exist
between the spiritual world and a multiple of physical universes in this book
and another. I understand functions and separations between Spiritual Reality and
Physical Reality. This book is about how I view what is real and what is not. I feel it is time to share what I know and understand about how it is to
exist consciously no matter in which form, spiritual or physical. Consciousness
is what we Betweeners and you Humans have in common. I have no choice but to stick with reality in both
Forms -- Spiritual and Physical. You the living have no choice either. You had no choice
being born and to whom. You do have some choice on when and how to leave life, statistically and
otherwise. I, the Soki am going to present myself in a more broadminded manner in the novel than the
Stage Manager in Thornton Wilder's Our
Town does in his script. If you know Wilder's play all the better, if not you might read, view in digital at your leisure or see the play at the theatre, live. Of course nothing is stopping you
from reading on in Soki's Choice or putting the book back where you found it. You humans have
free will, that way. I do not.
Betweeners are not human beings. The closest
thing to a Betweener is an unoccupied soul constructed, as it were, for the occupancy of a nonphysical human heartanmind. Hearts and minds develop at different rates within the
physics of hominin anatomy, that is, the primate human anatomy and its direct
ancestors. This book is also about another mammal, who appears human-like in
physical form, but whose members are born incompletely developed physically, and
are thus carried and suckled in a pouch attached at the mother's belly until
the 'babes' are more fully developed. Marsupial humanoids as I call
them also have unoccupied souls for the developing heartsanminds within their
physical bodies. Here's the thing -- both species have in their languages a singular similar word for soulmate.
The meaning is the same in both species that have heartsansoulsanminds.
There is no
clear scientific evidence or unique definition of what a soul and its
metaphysical counterparts might be. Subjective evidence precludes there is
human phenomena that relates to a soulmate, generally defined as: "a
person ideally suited to another as a close friend or romantic partner".
Soulmates exist. Ask a few people and they will tell you this is so. Some take
the word figuratively and others literally -- it's subjective at best, but it
is a phenomenon related to the act of 'being in love'. Soulmates are real
because human beings are real, this is the point. To date we have no direct
evidence of spirit particles or forces, but we have evidence of positive
spiritual direction when a person is actively in love with another person.
People who have some conscious life have witnessed this either within
themselves or within others. The objectivity is witness in human behavior
because people are in part, subjective when dealing with the realities of being
human.
Consciousness
appears to come from the mix of passions in the heart and cognitive, thinking
and reflective mind of the individual, and in here, in this book, the
non-material soul houses the non-material heartanmind. Consciousness is the
essence of a person, this essence is incorporeal and eternal in this book; when
a body dies the heartansoulanmind, the spiritual essence, moves on. The
spiritual essence, the personal pronoun, the "I" of a person leaves
the body, the passion and the reasoning process leave the body dead of personality
and humanity. This spiritual cohesiveness is not an abstraction in the mind. It
is witnessed when viewing a dead human body. To deny this is to deny one's own
reality.
Some religiously oriented human spirits
suggest that only human beings have immortal souls. Others say the human spirit
is the essence of the real person. A Sanskrit word that corresponds closely
with soul means the individual self. This soul, this consciousness, has no
birth or death, and thus leaves the physical body upon mortal death. This soul
can transmigrate from one body to another when circumstances permit. This is
what some religiously oriented human beings say. physical mortality. What was
once a living being no longer is. [Reading Grade 9/Ease 56.7]
