Later morning. Dan is upstairs staining the
railing and he will be painting the ceiling today. You were thinking of
postponing painting the smaller bedroom but have decided to have Dan do it now
along with that ceiling if he has the time. Next will be to replace the carpets
in both the master and that bedroom. Beyond that, buying new insulated
decorator blinds for the downstairs and from there you will take the time to
think more about it. - Amorella
1035 hours. About an hour
ago we picked the color, a worm off white, for the master and might as well use
it in the smaller bedroom too. The two rooms are at the opposite ends of the
house and already share the same off white carpet, so that makes it easy. We
are happy this is getting done.
Dan finished
the staining which you claimed "Awesome". It matches. Carol likes it
too. In April Dan is going to try to do the little bedroom.
Afternoon. You stopped at Panera/Chipotle
for lunch, then to Target at VOA for three powerstrips for sixty-one dollars;
on to Walmart it check out their powerstrips -- bought for thirty-one dollars
and you will take Target's back. Presently at Kroger's for one turkey burger to
split for supper. Then to Graeter's and Target for the return the three
powerstrips. - Amorella
1647 hours. Unbelievable. Half
the price for the bloody same thing. In fact the ones at Walmart (GE) had four
foot cords while the Target's had three.
Once home to drop off the turkey burger you
saw Tim who said Bob Austerman (next door to them) died Saturday. He was in his
late eighties. Everyone feels bad. He has been a great neighbor since 1992 and
was head of the Homeowners Association until just a few years ago. He made sure we got a traffic light at Mason-Montgomery Road when it was expanded to four lanes. He always
power shoveled our driveway and four others nearby. Never took money, but we
all chipped in to help support him at his favorite sport, golf, at his favorite
nearby course. It's too bad. However, like I said to Tim, once you reach that
age it is never really (in the long run) going to get better. He was a good man
the entire time we in the neighborhood knew him. May he rest in peace. - rho
