Morning. The boys were early up while Kim and Paul called and
'facetimed' them finishing breakfast while they were waiting for their flight
from Baltimore International down to Charleston. Owen and Brennan left for the
bus stop early to play tag with the other boys. You waited nearby until the bus
came. Then you took Brennan to his school, Primrose. Once he was dropped off you and Carol drove to
Schneider's for doughnuts. After 'breakfast' Carol wanted to drive by Mary
Lou's old house; it looks much the same at least on the outside. You are
sitting in your favorite chair looking out and the long line of a variety of
trees fifty to a hundred yards thick.
Ellie, K an P's mostly Maine coon cat, is sitting beside your feet on the stool.
Carol is taking a nap in the bedroom. Another brisk day though cloudy, rain is
coming this afternoon. - Amorella
1050 hours. The boys were a delight this morning, full of happy energy, watching
the kid's cartoon film about a tropical island girl looking for the cultural
heart of their ancient tribe. There is lots of singing and the boys broke into
song every time the girl, named 'M' did. I asked Owen why there was so much
singing. He said, "I don't know but we like to sing them, Papa," He
sounded slightly defensive so I didn't
pursue my end of the discussion.
Post, orndorff. You have a tendency to
irritate people when you see the chance. This is not very constructive but you
do it anyway. Why is that? - Amorella
Mid-afternoon.
You and Carol had lunch at Max and Erma's in north Westerville and have stopped
at Barnes and Noble for Neal Stephenson's Seveneves. You are surprised
at the $17.99 paperback cost. Carol bought two new books for herself also. -

1709 hours. I picked up Brennan while Carol stayed with Owen; presently
both are working on a game on their iPad. Carol is on the 'C' shaped couch with
them reading her Baldacci book. Time to check my email.
Everyone had leftovers from last night for
supper. Owen went to a first grade school music concert with a friend and his
parents (set up by Kim in advance). It turns out Owen has a part but the seats for
adults are small and uncomfortable according to Kim. Owen asked if that was the
reason you were not going and you told him it was. He was satisfied there was a
good reason. We can work on chapter twenty by letting Soki play his part. Post.
