Notes - heading north / one letter at a time

Shortly before noon. You are both mostly packed for the sojourn north. Supposedly, Egg McMuffins and drinks on the way and a four Kroger's cookies to take along. Jadah is asleep in your bedroom chair, has been since you told here, "We'll be gone for a few days Jadah. We are going up to see Kim, Paul, the boys and Ellie. You and Spooky will have to take care of the house and each other while we're gone. Amy will give you your food and water and look after you while we're gone." A few hugs and pets and that's it 'til your home again. - Amorella

1203 hours. We love our two cats. They are characters and a half; individuals both. Spooky and Jadah get along well. It's a cool, rainy day; not bad for a drive though, it's not pouring.

You are thinking about leaving Seveneves here. - Amorella

1207 hours. I cannot really get into the book. I'll take it though, maybe get another hundred to hundred and fifty pages read. Carol's going up to shower and wash her hair -- I just hope we leave by one-thirty at the latest. I like to be through Columbus before rush hour, especially going north by OSU on Rt.315. I could read a chapter or so now.

Go to it. You might learn something about writing a better novel. - Amorella

       1213 hours. Maybe. Who knows.

       Post. - Amorella

Almost midnight. You can't get to sleep. This might help. Once in bed concentrate on how you may have been before you arrived here some seventy-four years ago. Who had you been? What had you done in a previous life, let's say some seven hundred years ago? You like to think you may have been a monk in some religious order and that you transcribed words into an art form one letter at a time. What would your daily life been like? What kind of friends would you have had? What would you have thought of Martin Luther? Would you have supported his actions? Why? Would you have stayed with the Church attempting to reform it from within? Or, would you have ignored either side of this conflict and just kept doing what you did, transcribing words into an art form one letter at a time? Sleep well, boy. - Amorella

       2359 hours. Thank  you, Amorella
