About time for bed. You and
Carol had a late breakfast with Kim, Paul, Owen and Brennan at Bob Evans north
of Powel Road on Route 23 then drove back to the house to load the car and the
cats. Once home you both worked on the mail and newspapers, a late light lunch
at Panera after running errands, then home. You had a nap. Carol continued home
economics. You both took time to watch last night's Lawrence O'Donnell show on
MSNBC. You read the new Consumer Reports and have three other new
magazines to read. Everyone, including Jadah and Spooky, has settled into the
normal routines of the day/evening at home. - Amorella
2203 hours. That is concise and to the point, Amorella.
I am reflecting your present sense of
reality, boy. - Amorella
2205 hours. I appear to be without spirit and passion.
You are quite apprehensive about how the
rest of the year is going to play out on a nationally political level and you
can do nothing about it. - Amorella
2210 hours. I was hoping there would be marches/demonstrations about
Trump's behavior and the Republican Health Care work, but nothing has happened.
People are on a national holiday weekend and are busy doing what they do; not
that there is anything wrong with it. Most Republics seem to be not too keen on
being against Trump's behavior and are focused not on health care but the
repeal of Obama care. This is amoral and Machiavellian behavior. And, now the
trickle of 'new' work at the Capitol to learn more personal information from
voting records to stamp out supposed fraud. Trump and company are attempting to
take the country for a ride through a dystopian setting and into a despotic
form of government . . . an unhealthy and inhumane oriented rule of the United
States. This is based upon a budget-oriented group's wants not individual
citizen's needs. This is unsettling and demoralizing and what is worse is that
it is not going away because we voted for it. Irony and poetry in action --
dark humor deserved until we find the will to vote out of it. Were we British I
would call for new elections; still we might be voted down again. There's the
rub and one day it might just rub us out. (2247) - rho
Who are you to call for new elections, boy?
- Amorella
2248 hours. Me on my high horse. You make a good point, Amorella.
Time for bed. Let it go. Sleep. Let what's
dead in you rise up from who you are, boy. Post. - Amorella
2252 hours. Where is this "what's dead in me" Amorella --
heart or soul or mind?
Where do you think, young man? Amorella
2255 hours. The mind; my mind. I cannot feel there is deadness in heart
and soul (as arrogant as this may read).
