Notes - work to phototext 1 and 2 [Romella] *

Noon. Jill arrived to clean and you drove to McD's for drinks and a medium fry -- sat inside for a change and chatted about the jobs Kim held (and how they had come about) from high school through graduate school and beyond. The temperature is in the seventies and it is full cloudy and quite humid. Carol is on page fourteen of Grisham's The Brethren while you are sitting in the Avalon at the southern area of Rose Hill cemetery facing east, a cemetery block (B6) from the second gate onto Mason-Montgomery Road. A modern mausoleum (twenty-four caskets on each side) sets fifteen feet south of the front passenger seat . . . a Davis and Senour headstones set across the road to the southwest; to the northwest you see a Burnside and Rapp headstones. Straight across Mason-Montgomery Road you can see the front door to the relatively new Mason City Building, behind it sets the connected Community Center and Mason High School. -  Amorella

1218 hours. Different view facing east, that's for sure. I have the spiral notebooks in the back seat; might as well pull the first one out.

Earlier you had thought to bring paperclips to mark pages that we find relative to the main focus -- the metaphysical event. - Amorella

1222 hours. I had other lesser metaphysical-like events; only a few effected my spiritual life though; that is, they were  'personally, intimately experienced spiritual events. I was not a stranger to these spiritual happenings.

We need to define the difference between full blown metaphysical and spiritual. - Amorella

1228 hours. I didn't grow up in a spiritual vacuum. Perhaps transcendent/spiritual or even ethereal is a better word choice, or even an inner psychological non-trance-like state -- I still consider these regions of mind as spiritual-like.

The difference for this exercise, boy is that we want to include any events that you might consider heartansoulanmind events not those lesser, those you might consider heart or mind events. You might include an event that you consider a soul event alone, that would be on the periphery. - Amorella

       1241 hours. Okay. I agree. I'm taking a break.

You had a take out at Potbelly's and ate at the cemetery. You also have put together two phototexts of page 1 and 2 of Spiral Notebook #1 begun 10 April 88. Here they are. - Amorella

1529 hours. One photo-text came through.  I erred and have to wait for the second. I had three photos come through originally but they were all page one. I should have checked. I am figuring out how this works and will have it better organized shortly. Here is how the first phototext is noted: "1Nbk,1a.10ap88.jpg". Notebook 1 a (first page; b = following page) and date 10ap88. This will be fun and different than what I have done before. Actually, it is nonfiction-like research. A switch from the usual fiction document. It does take time to create a phototext then send it from my iPhone to my MacBook in an email. I have made a new file titled, "Notes.Copy.Research" for the phototexts. Note: you can spread photos to make them larger for better reading.  Amorella first called herself
Romela.

1603 hours.  This has taken a bit of time but I'll get better at it. Note my shirt at bottom of page 2. This work is to provide clarity but it is not a professional undertaking.

       Post. - Amorella

You both had a light supper since you had a Graeter's earlier. You watched NBC and ABC News and the ninth episode of the third season of "Bosch" on Amazon Prime, one more to go and you will be caught up. You watched a special on Russian spying on MSNBC in place of Rachel tonight and are copying "Laurence O'Donnell". - Amorella

2159 hours. I read through the first two spiral notebooks and found perhaps five pages to phototext. Most commentary was on boosting my morale and energies to continue writing Spice, almost all was on the first draft not notes from Romela (sometimes I spelled this with two l's not one. I would have thought Amorella was on the scene faster and am surprised that through May, 1988 Romela had not 'changed' her name to Amorella. I also had forgotten that sometimes Romela had friends who would pop up and give me writing encouragement. At times I thought I had triggered unconsciously established multiple characters but in the years since I believe that I had idea that needed to be expressed consciously in writing so I invented a name for a character who would speak the comment. I remember talking about this to Dr. Payne in sessions after I showed him examples of different handwriting I used on chalk board when writing notes for lectures on literature. He dismissed this. I had EEG's that showed I did not have a multiple personality. He thought I was freely creative and conjured them up to help with my writing composition.

I, the Amorella, dismissed these Romella documents for this exercise because of the singular focus for investigation which is basically: Was there an Angel in the room with orndorff from time to time? So, we go through the old notes, most of Romela's comments are in the drafting aspects of Spice. to see what we can find. Orndorff has not read through them for many years. They sat in the cardboard box on a shelf in the basement until recently. Tomorrow we continue, finishing notebook one, then notebook two. Post. - Amorella

2218 hours. It is interesting digging into my old thoughts . . . I was concerned about G-D and Her/His reality and about what 'love' really is. Culturally I had been taught that G-D is Love and that it was the highest of virtues but I began thinking that G-D was surely more than Love. G-D is a Creator of All Things and Beyond, that's far too broad for a narrower aspect of love, even Divine Love which to me is narrower than the concept of a Creator of All Things (Physics) and Beyond (what is imaginable to human beings). I adapted this to be a part of the marsupial humanoid aliens philosophy not religion. This work has always been experimental writing. (2227)
