Notes on the fourth and fifth of August 2017

       Kim, Paul and the boys took you and Carol to The Warehouse in Delaware  for your upcoming birthday. Paul is on call so dinner had to be nearby. You, Carol and Kim had lasagna, Paul had something with rice, the boys had noodles as well as pizza. You all enjoyed the meals earlier Paul showed you the basement. He is finishing the concrete floor in the basement bathroom as well as in the walk-in shower. Monday, a fellow is coming to install the drywall on the walls, the ceiling is already completed and Paul put the wood floor base for a laminate wood floor which he will install later. - Amorella

5 August 2017

       Yesterday you completed your exercises though modified (fewer with weights) because of lower back pain. After the exercises you took a soaking hot bath which was very comfortable. McD's on the run for lunch; you arrived mid-afternoon. -- This morning you all had breakfast at Scrambler Marie's near Polaris and presently you are in the car while everyone else is in Dick's for boys' shoes. Paul is on Call so he is driving separately. Kim and Carol having talking about selling your house (to your surprise) to the highest bidder. Kim is going to contact your realtor, the lady who took over for Donna S (retired).

       0945 hours. I have to have Paul show me again, how to seen the phototext in a simple manner. There is a good cool breeze out of the west; I am ready to take a nap.

       You napped about two hours and then left about one. You found out from Kim that they talked about houses (moving) while you were asleep. Once home (light traffic on Rt. 315 and I-71) you both relaxed a bit then had Two Cities pizza Uptown. Now you are selecting 'necessities' (milk, bananas and cookies) from Kroger on Mason-Montgomery Road. - Amorella

       1730 hours. The other day I tried to send all those new phototexts (in a group via Airplay) to the MacBook from the iPhone. It did not work. Paul was going to give me the wherewithal instructions but we both forgot. Maybe Airplay is not built for phototexts recognition anyway; this I plan to try one more time; tonight or tomorrow. Carol is about to call Linda; I could go take another nap. Carol slept most of the way home from the Lewis Center area.

       You watched NBC News at seven then the third episode of the second season of "Midsomer Murders". Carol has gone up to read and you are going up shortly. - Amorella

       2215 hours. Yesterday was a turning point on the arthritic cycle as the pain slowly subsided. Last night when Paul pointed out that I had a prescription for aching muscles, flexural, I took one this morning and it made me very tired and my late morning nap was one of deep sleep. Though I will have to tough it out with pain meds I have an old medicine that I can easily have prescribed because there are no opioids within the drug. What a relief to know this. I had forgot all about flexural. I used it particularly in the eighties and nineties when I had a flurry of lower back problems. I'll not take any more unless I really need one. I just have to trust that tomorrow morning the pain will have mostly subsided. It would be nice to wake up and not reach for my cane to help left me up from the bed or chair.

       2228 hours. I don't always know where you are location-wise in my head, though I have asked from time to time.

       Can you have a location in a place where time does not exist? - Amorella

       2233 hours. This sounds like a silly question, but honestly, I don't know if a 'place' can exist in a location that has no time. People say Heaven might be such a place but as it has no more physics than a thought, I do not know.
