Yesterday you took an online test of your
vocabulary skills and the test result was thirty thousand words; it also said
the average first language English speaking person has a vocabulary of between
twenty thousand to thirty-five thousand words. The humor to you is that you
would think a real writer would have fifty to sixty thousand words at hand, so
to speak. Obviously, one more reason to consider yourself delusional when it
comes to actual writing. The other side of the argument is that in order to
communicate effectively with others you have to speak in a plain language using
plain language skills. In this case you have no choice. Your sense of humor is thus widespread. - Amorella
