Notes - F and F,5/6/7 / curious soul

Afternoon. You are about to run some errands and have lunch at Piada's Street Italian. You also copied your continued reviewing of Fire and Fury from your Facebook page with a concluding note. - Amorella

OPINION.. [Ch. 5-6]  In chapter five of Fire and Fury  the quicker reading slows down to focus on detailing the social economics of Jared and Ivanka. Neither are the perfect puppets of their parents, but part of a restructured order of newly rich as opposed to old wealth in who's who in New York City and Washington D.C. An enjoyable read of a family surrounded by nuances of politics and power. Personally, I learned something new. I did not know Ivanka and Jared had three children in school. This chapter nursed a calming effect of family businesses, like being nearer the bank of the rapids rather roaring down the middle..

Chapter six was a quick read. Rapids in the White House, i.e. Trump being Trump.

Note: When I begin this review of the book, it did not hit me that writing about it in Facebook might be improper even though it is an opinion piece. On this note I will stop my chapter by chapter coverage and write a short commentary on the book in terms of whether I found it a good read or not. So far I am enjoying Fire and Fury. It is better written than I thought it would be. I was thinking out an out tabloid content, but no, to me it is, so far, a thoughtfully constructed book.

Nearing bedtime. You had a Piada Street Italian around four, so it counted as supper. Home, you read another chapter from Fire and Fury but did not publish it on Facebook. You did write something up but you will put that on the blog tonight for safe-keeping. Here it is. - Amorella

In chapter seven of Fire and Fury I ease my eyes onto all things Russia at the White House and to the rise of Bob Dylan's 'Quinn the Eskimo'; no wait, not Quinn (a fake-memory), instead the rise a great three star general . . . the mighty Flynn. It says in here that Flynn didn't even report to the Vice President such was the chain of command but the falling of Flynn came anyway. When reading a book there is usually something to learn along the way. That's what I learned, Flynn didn't even report to the Vice President so when did he lie to him?

2216 hours. We watched a few shows after NBC News. The best were another episode of "The Crown" and "The Rachael Maddow Show". Carol has developed a bad cold and I am tired. I blame that on my pneumonia shot yesterday. I had a shot A a couple years ago but now they have a second shot B. Something new. Whatever works.

You have nothing else on your mind? - Amorella

2224 hours. I do not, but I am still a curious soul.

         Post. - Amorella
